I got one of the SNT 2405’s for the 2023-2024 winter.
Has a couple of good storms.
The blower works great. No complaints.
Same exact blower as in video with the 7.5 amp-hour batteries.
Had no issues with run time, about 45-1 hour and batteries only dropped to 40% remaining with 6-7 inches of wet snow on a 140 foot driveway
Glad to hear, I enjoy mine for sure
Thanks for the follow up, Cleveland Ohio here, bought my SNT2400 in September 2022, of course first year, 1 snow storm. This year I got to use it twice. It does work really well. I also have the lawn mower which I love.
Thanks Greg
I oh so love these reviews, I would get one but my driveway is no average driveway haha, but that said, its always cool to see these machines in action
Thanks Alex
Good to hear, maybe I will upgrade to the 2 Stage thanks!!
If you get snow it's definitely worth it in my opinion
I killed my SNT2102, they don't like ice that jams them up. Killed the motor and control board. I tried to fix it myself but can't get parts. I ended up getting the SNT2112. Had the first one for almost 3 years and it was a beast for a single stage. It was user error as to why it went boom so I can't complain. Almost bought the SNT2400 but I just don't have a big enough driveway or space to keep something that big. Thanks for all your great reveiws. I use the info for my purchases.
Sorry to hear that and thank you for your support
Finally used my snt2400 in over a year happily did 5 houses on a single charge of 10ah batteries. Handled the heavy wet stuff just fine. As you stated slow and low and those batteries just keep going and going and going......
Thanks for sharing
Nice job. I have the new EGO 28" model and it's a beast that has gone through snow above the housing (with the help of drift cutters) with no problems. The hand warmers are nice too :) Believe the gen 2 24" also has those. I also have the ArmorSkids (probably got the idea from you) and just wanted to mention that for anyone who has the 28" model you will want to get the spacers also because the 28" has a lip that comes out a bit more than the 24" at the front of the housing. Got both the skids and the spacers at HD recently.
Thanks Rick
Would love to get one of these one day!
Maybe Lowe's financing could help it's definitely worth it if you get snow in my opinion
Seems to have up very well. The older batteries as well! Glad to see that. This was a great long term review! And this is also for the people who say these tools won’t last. And I never let Greenworks batteries sit. I figure if they’re charging than they’re not warm enough and are good to go. 😂
Thanks AJ
Always deserved my friend. Can’t believe how much your channel has grown since than.
@ajgreen868 50k around the corner, very excited but I'm glad the growth has all been organic that's very important. Thanks buddy
I had to do the chute fix on my og 2 stage. Your video was very helpful. My 2 stage has been going strong as well. It seems some of the newer 2stage has had some gears breaking
Gears breaking ? Wow wasn’t familiar with that.
@@TechMadeEzy many people on ego Facebook groups have complained of impeller gear breaking and some with the drive gear issues
Insane. They need to step up their QC
still have to go slower if snow starts coming out the front sides.....also, I personally would lower my skids so it scrapes right down to the pavement
My skids are pretty low
We haven’t had any snow to speak of… mostly leaf blower level of dustings ..
Tonight I will say a prayer that you get at least 16 in or more
Did you get a chance to run the Snow Joe 2 stage in this snow? A comparison to the Ego would be great!
Hot mess, won’t run , won’t start so I’m trying to do something
Wow that sucks! It would probably benefit people to see a followup video of how it doesnt work as it should.@@TechMadeEzy
Do you still like/use EGO’s snow shovel?
Hi sorry for the late reply, I have to say it's pretty heavy. It works but the weight seems challenging.
That's the thing I really don't like about battery powered equipment, batteries are going to need replacement and are extremely expensive.
If you had a gas snowblower, it would still have 100% capacity after 4 or 20 years.
But you will still need to buy gas each time you use it
I'm still happy with mine four years and hopefully many more years to go
i have lots of EGO tools so I have many batteries that get shared amongst all the tools....this helps the batteries last longer in my experience
Looks more like 6 inches of snow.
I hear ya but over all we got over a foot
