Von was special, we didn’t even need a music video because we already had the image in our head. He was an artist that could give us imagery
What’s crazy is I was just talking to my mother today about how desensitized I am to death and didn’t realize it. My family was coming home from church and our car got shot up but my brother was the only one hit, he was in the front passenger. He was 13 and the shooter mistakenly shot him thinking he was someone else. My job now actually involves bio/crime scene clean up, I had to clean up a suicide today 🕊 my folks made me feel weird because they were uncomfortable about how nonchalant I am about my job. Death of kids is the only time I get triggered but I was told it’s the trauma of reliving the experience.
I have a cousin that does the extreme cleaning jobs at murder scenes and death scenes… he legit does the same thing and just starts talking things like post suicide clean ups as if he was just talking about going for a walk in the park lol… so casual and nonchalant 🤣

I saw a mother hang herself on front of her kids, they thought she was playing, but she started making raspy noises and her hands were shaking violently. That was when they realized it was indeed not a game. Also like zetas literally ripping beating hearts out of people and people staring at their own beating heart.

I just started listening to Von a couple weeks ago (I'm not a huge fan of newer rap) but I started looking into him after I read some articles on his passing.
Buddy was talented for sure, wish I hadn't slept on him for so long.

One of my exes is only an ex cuz they got shot by a bullet, when they were shooting at me, and she took her last breath in my arms. My memory goes basically blank for the next month, and I don't remember what I did or where I went or what I did. All I remember was seeing her pass while in my arms, and next memory was waking up to a friend dragging me through some woods. He was happy after apparently went through something that should have killed me. Apparently some stuff happened to the ones who shot at me that day. Mind you, I lost like 6 months in the time between when she died, and my friend pulling me through some woods after something bad supposedly had happened. Every time I get a chance to talk to him, even though it's only like for 5 or 10 mins, he says I went like a devil for those 6 months. He lives overseas and was visiting when he found me back then. He is a real ride or die kinda person for those he really close to. He still says I low key scare the crap out of him when I get pissed.

Got used to being able to cut ppl off quick, cuz it's less painful then when your close to someone. It's been like 17 almost 18 years now, and I still miss that girl. We was only teens back then, but we was so close to one another. Her parents told me when I came back from where ever I vanished to, that the ppl involved died. They still contacted me till they passed a few years ago.

The guy who produced the video said that Von would call him all the time and leave him voice messages when he was up and stuff and so that's why he sounded out of breath. He said Von was really active in his videos helping to bring the story to life, it was a heartfelt move for the producer to put that message in the video. I did hear that this is the last video he did Von, I could be wrong

Where I grew up it was pretty bad, once you see someone get shot or someone die in front of you I feel like it takes a piece of your humanity. Not indifference to pain or grief but a lack of emotion, so being sincere difficult.
