Here is my review of the Grand Seiko "Summer"...This watch has been gone from my collection for some time now. Traded it in to buy back the Speedmaster Pro...I only just got around to posting it. Sorry about that and I hope you find it useful!

I saw this in person and it is striking. I had thought I would go for the pink spring dial, but of all the seasons watches this was my favourite in person.
I just love the dials that Grand Seiko comes up with! Simply stunning! Great videos btw!
Always so much fun everytime you upload. Green and gold are so good together! I sold my Spring because it was too silver with not enough pink. I also prefer the polished lug tops of the steel models. Beautiful piece my friend!

Excellent video thank you. One of the finest watchmakers in Japan. This timepiece is incredible and the bracelet for me is one of the best. There is no other timepiece with this type of case design. The gap is no problem and micro adjustment not needing this is not a divers watch.
I just bought this last week. C24 brand new 33% off retail. The gold dial furniture makes this watch w/ all the different angles. The bracelet is luxurious even tho it has no on the fly adjustment: Clasp is real nice too.

Any opinion on this watch being mated to a brown leather strap please? (I saw the blue pairing you did there).
I really love the dial but am not so keen on the metal strap since my other watch also has a metal strap. Want the look of this one to be different. Thank you in advance.

5:10 THIS is the issue with all of Grand Seiko's Heritage models...THE CLASP and lack of micro adjust, and that STUPID GAP. I have an SGBE205, and I ad to remove the bracelet as the "gap" part of the clasp kept catching on my suit trousers, and I had ZERO micro adjust. I have a Seiko Presage with a flush clasp and no gap, so why can't GS do the same???
If Grand Seiko just fixed their clasps, these watches would be true GO ANYWHERE, DO ANYTHING watches.
I haven't wore my SGBE205 in months due to this, it really ruined the experience for me.
It is infuriating.
Does anyone know if GS uses solid Gold Indices and hands?
EW. I have a Cartier Santos large version. In your honest opinion do you think a grand seiko would be a better watch to trade for? I am thinking of trading my santos for a winter. What are your thoughts?
Love my Rikka! Not a lot of people love the green and gold, which makes it all the more special to me. May follow it up with a Golden Snowflake!

I don't know if you've gotten a chance to see the SLGA013G, because I'd really love to get your opinion on which would you say in your opinion looks more classy and luxurious, that or this "Rikka"? I'm torn between the two, want to get one, I'm not particular about the movement, it's more about the look for me. Would appreciate your feedback

No micro adjustment clasp suck
Out of curiosity, I'm surprised by the height, is the case alone 13mm? Or is the case (for example maybe around 12.1mm) with 8mm glass as I see it protrudes.

I used to own the SBGV238 (two tone watch with 18k Gold Bezel), GS confirmed that even that watch didn't have real gold indices.
I'm not sure what kind of treatment the steel undergoes to get the gold colour.

I just ever so slightly preferred the Green Summer. That said, I seriously considered getting all 4 seasons but I talked some sense into myself 😅
This is a watch that I have a hard time really liking, the green is not really my shade and the gold indexes just seem a bit out of place. I know this one is already gone so hopefully you don't mind me saying but I MUCH prefer your Winter.
