  • The 5 star Blue Lagoon Resort in Kos Greece has over 7 pools, 6 Restaurants, loads of bars and plenty to do for all ages. Check out the full walkthrough to see if the Blue Lagoon Resort is for you.
A short taxi ride into Kos Town or 30 minute walk, the Blue Lagoon Resort has a private beach, waterpark and some of the best entertainment i've seen in a hotel.
We stayed there in May so the weather wasn't as good as i'd hoped and the pools were freezing! The hotel has a lot of weddings, so if you're going with young children make sure to not be in the 2000 rooms as they can be very noisy.
Blue Lagoon Resort has a number of restaurants but unfortunately the buffets all seem to serve the same food every day for both lunch and dinner.
I new before walking in that i'd be eating grilled chicken and chips.
The beach is a 2 minute walk and is private to the resort but you are charged for sunbeds. I didn't add the beach to the walkthrough as its not that nice and not worth money.
Overall the Blue Lagoon Resort looks a nice hotel from the walkthrough but unfortunately with the cold pools and number of problems I wouldn't book this hotel again.

Loved it here in October 2020. Our rooms, we had 2, were just opposite the conference room and arcade room, so the blue apartments at around 4.22 in the video. So we had the childrens pool to the entrance side of our rooms and the large pool to the terraced side of our room.. So we only had a 2 minute walk when ever we fancied an ice cream and drinks if we were in our room. The arcade room was closed because of Covid but the outdoor arcade area was open. The shop is ridiculously over priced, nothing much priced anyway so they charge what they want. The weather was still hot in October when we were there, still reached 30`s, in the day and maybe 26 at night and we only had one day with a short shower and a little thunder storm. We stayed all inclusive, which from you saying the price you paid for drinks, I`m glad we did. Well worth it for the 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 older teenagers at the time. Food and drinks were all good.

Ah nice, that seems like a good location with the pools either side of you. Tbh with the arcade I don’t think you were missing much, we went back in there a couple nights later. It was very old school and not much happening there.
With the shop I think we spent loads in there when I added it up after the hol. Dunno why we didn’t just do the shopping when we were in town 🙈.
The hotel is still all inclusive but they have bars that you can pay at. Which I thought I’d order from to see how much they cost. I was shocked when I paid 24 euro I think it was for 2 vodka and cokes. I soon went back to the free bar 🤣🤣

Not really. Everything was in town which was about 10 min in a taxi costing 10 euro.

Hotel was alright. Definitely not a 5 star. A lot of complaints with it. And normally I don’t complain about anything 🤣

I’d say that is about half of the resort. You’ve also got the bottom area with another kids pool with a boat and slides they can go on. And also another quiet pool next to the piano bar.
Only tip really I’d say is make sure you’re not in the 2000s block (make sure your room doesn’t start with a 20) our room was 2010 and it was opposite where they had 5 weddings during our stay. Which went on till midnight with loud music and fireworks. Annoying with a 3 year old 😅.
Also the water park area has better day time food if you want to eat around the pool rather than going to sit in a restaurant.
The supermarket on site is way over priced, but that’s normal for an onsite shop I guess.
Lastly I hope the pools are warmer for you because they were freezing!!!!🥶
