    Hi, do you know where is 90 amp fuse box for this mercruiser? I am trying to find it and i have a hard time. thanks.

      Sorry Duc! I don't know. I found this post suggesting that the 90 amp fuse should be on the end of the starter solenoid: www.offshoreonly.com/forums/general-q/248948-where-90amp-fuse-mercruiser.html.

      Thanks for information. I tried the same method as you. But engine is still running after took out the positive line. One thing i don't understand when my engine is running, the voltage is shown only 13v. Should it be more than 14v? Thanks.

      @@DucNguyen-ww5xc Hi, this is the part I bought: Alternator For Mercruiser Model 198 MIE 1977, Model 228 1977-1981; 400-46022. Hope that helps!
