  • Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy volunteers take part in a special work day event at JK Black Oak Wildlife Sanctuary. The volunteers installed a fence, set up a water source and neutralized nearly 200 invasive "Trees of Heaven." JK Black Oak is an 89-acre natural area of forests and meadows dotted with vernal pools and located near the town of Lucketts. This globally rare wetlands - with a wonderful diversity of unique amphibian and wildlife populations - is owned by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy.
