I think it is important to remember 2 things.
1) Inflation is not significant on its own. To summarize, we must above all look at purchasing power.
For example, in an emerging country, a very strong increase in economic power will almost inevitably create inflation. (If for example average salaries increase by 200% but inflation increases by 150%, purchasing power clearly improves.
Obviously, it's a little more complicated than that (because you have to see who has its increasing income, and we must be very careful because a strong increase in income can in reality only concern the richest but not the poorest for example).
2) You have to remember that it works on power. 10% inflation per year, for example, is equivalent to more than a doubling of prices over 10 years.
100% is equivalent to a doubling in 1 year but an increase of x1000 in 10 years and x1million over 20 years.
You have to be careful because generally a value in economics is rarely significant on its own.

@@mesao139 Vos no tenes idea de qué estás hablando... Argentina tiene una distribución del ingreso más alta que la gran mayoría de los países latinoamericanos. Eso, entre otras cosas, contribuye a su alto IDH, cosa que países limitados como México hace agua...
