Snug & Cozy Shelter Build - Bushcraft, Flat Stone Fireplace, Birch Bark Roof, Solar Eclipse

I build a snug and cozy Teepee in the forest for future bushcraft videos.
The Teepee is made of dead trees for the poles, birch bark & pine needles for the roof. The Teepee is fairly open on the one side so I can film inside.
While building the Teepee I take a few photos and videos of the Solar Eclipse.

For a minute there I thought you were going to make a keyhole fire pit. Nobody does those anymore 🤷‍♂️ That’s my favorite ‘long term’ fire pit. I cook with dutch ovens, pots, pans and reflector ovens and the keyhole design lets me use most of them all at the same time and have a nice sized fire for warmth too. It’s also very conducive to the use of tripods and other cooking devices
