Good to teach people the art of foraging so much abundance on people’s door steps yet they bag sad jet lagged salad from supermarkets..I’ve been foraging for Elderflowers here in the UK

One of the most difficult things, is remembering the names.
A little annotation in a corner of the scientific name, or even both common and scientific, I personally would find that really, really helpful to kindof, lock it in my head.
I'm sure as I get to know the families better I will find it far easier but I'm just at a stage I'm really struggling to keep up.
A good frined of mine learns far better from books, so he's going out now and able to identify every plant his wife points at in their area ... to the point it's starting to freak her out!
    So I have competition!!! XD

@@UKWILDCRAFTS had no joy on finding anything because I got distracted when I seen a field almost filled completely with ash so I went in to search for cramp balls with my little minion on my shoulders.
I was being eaten alive by midges and decided to call it a day when my little poop monster decided to put enough in 1 nappie to fill 5 nappies.
However today was a different story I have seen chicken of the woods a few times but always gave it a tap and thought that's too tough for eating. Well today I think I found a pretty soft one just waiting for an id on Facebook to see if I've got the right one.

Part 2 please :) It would be great if you did a video on each tea. I mean like start with a shop bought product. Zoom in on the ingredients then give it a Lets Go, then star swip to forage then star swipe to the tea being dried for storage and made.
i particularity interested in the red teas. witch i believe are a mix of plants.

    • @UKWILDCRAFTS

I'm 99% sure that I found water mint. I say 99% because it doesn't smell like how I'd expected - it was actually quite odd, but not unpleasant, weirdly. It was like a strong toothpastey smell. Would you say this is how you'd describe it, or have I picked the wrong plant? xD Saying that, I have already imbibed 4 mugs of this as a tea over the past two days, and I'm still alive and well.

The Vast Majority of the Mint family are Edible and often Medicinal!!
I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of the Mint family
      ~ have no toxic members...
      But, I could be wrong
