Wren knocks on door

Two mornings ago, I heard tapping on my front door. When I looked outside, the tapping had stopped and I saw a House Wren feeding her baby on the railing. I grabbed my cellphone and took this video (through smudgy glass door :-() Baby saw me and flew down on the deck, but I caught her parent knocking.
Explanation: I leave my old walking stick outside, in that corner by the door. A week ago, I noticed tiny winged insects entering and leaving from cracks in my walking stick. Apparently, this House Wren also noticed. Here she is perched on my upside down broom, knocking on the stick to get the bugs out! Before I grabbed my phone, she was feeding her baby
