How to retrieve the navigation serial number from Acura MDX so you can get unlock code

If your battery died or you disconnected the battery from your Acura and now your navigation screen is asking you for a code but you don’t have it. You need to call the dealer and get that code from them but they will need the serial number for your Navi unit. This video shows you step by step on how to retrieve that number. This is on a 06 Acura MDX.

What if it's in the Code screen, asking for the 4 digit code? Example: when the battery has been disconnected & you must re-enter your code.
