All three of these amazing food stalls / restaurants, were featured in the 2020 Michelin Guide in Thailand, and all three were outstanding. Guay Tiew Pet Tun Saraphi (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเป็ดตุ๋นสารภี) - goo.gl/maps/ntFqdd1KcoocpiC36 - Located a little outside of Chiang Mai city, this braised duck restaurant is well worth making the effort to get to. Their braised duck, has an amazing herbal flavor, and is a step above many others I’ve had. We ordered Rice and duck (ข้าวหน้าเป็ด) and Duck noodles (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเป็ด). Both were amazing, but the noodles were the highlight for me. Price - 50 THB ($1.60) per bowl
Khanom Jeen Sanpakoi (ขนมจีนสันป่าข่อย (ไฮโซล้านนา) - g.page/sanpakoi?share - Next up on this Thai street food tour of Chiang Mai, we headed to the market for an amazing stall that’s hugely popular for their Northern Thai style curry. You can either choose rice of khanom jeen rice noodles - which are most popular. Then you can choose from a variety of their different Thai curries. I got, Khanom jeen nam ngiaw (ขนมจีนน้ำเงี้ยว), Green curry (ขนมจีนเขียวหวาน), and Beef curry (แกงเผ็ดเนื้อ). Another amazing thing about this place is that the plate of curry I had was just 20 ($0.64) per plate!
Khao Tom Yong (ข้าวต้มย้ง) - goo.gl/maps/WgMJrbrDt8f2gC4U6 - Finally to finish off these amazing Thai street food Michelin Guide tour of Chiang Mai, we went to Khao Tom Yong (ข้าวต้มย้ง) for some Thai Chinese dishes. We ordered, Clams, chili jam (หอยลายผัดพริกเผา), Eggplant (ผัดมะเขือยาว), Tom yum fish (ต้มยำปลากะพง), Chayote leaves (ผัดยอดมะระ), Snakeskin gourami salad (ยำปลาสลิด), White chives (ผัดกุยช่ายขาว). Food was delicious, and a great way to wrap up this entire day of delicious street food. Total price - 420 THB ($13.44)

The best thing I like in all Mark Weins' videos is the fact that he never wastes food. If you're a food blogger, the most important thing is not to waste food and to respect food. In my country I have so called food influencers/bloggers who waste a lot of food during a food meet- if you can't respect a meal you don't have the right to lable yourself a food lover.

I got my whole family watching mark wiens . Been watching him for years. My son loves to do his expressions when he is enjoying the food. 😂😂Mark wiens comes off as a humble and genuinely nice noble person. That is one the of the reason why I’m such of big fan of his. You genuinely see the love he has for food in the way he describes the taste and how he expresses himself and how he goes to every corner of the world to try all these different foods from all these different countries and cultures. The thing I love the most is the way this dude eats his food. He eats it with such total gusto, chewing every bone, stuffing a load of noodles into his mouth, I feel the tastiness of everything by the way he eats it!

Mark Munches Yes, I am Thai.I eat out everyday with various foods. And I can used 1 dollar to eat out per meal. I am 40 years old but still have fun to finding various menu in Thailand. South- North-middle-west-east-northeast-southwest have different style of foods.😋 If you can eat spicy food, it will more enjoy with Thai foods.

One of the best things about Thailand is how cheap it is to eat out. I never used my kitchen there, except on rare occasions. The second i stepped outside, there were food stalls just a few feet away

It’s not. That Thai chillies are quite spicy. Just slightly less than bird’s eye chillies.

Do more street food, Mark. Brings a smile to my face. I really miss street food from southeast asia. Grew up in M'sia and now live here in the US. Southeast asia street food is to die for. And it looks like you've really taken to it. You eat it like a local, like you grew up eating it all your life.

He travels with them EVERYWHERE HE tries some people d the food but not usually on camera. We will hear him in the background. I would love to know if He likes spicy foods like Mark. Lol

In one of his Kerala videos, he was eating a whole pepper corn. For us locals one little pepper ball is extremely spicy and he ate TWO WHOLE peppercones!!! This man's spice tolerance is off the charts!!

I can imagine the fragrant duck broth with a subtle sweetness highlighted by the sweet wood spices...that balancing of chili vinegar and smoky dried chili puree is spot on....as for the rice plate... the integrity of the rice grains is so crucial...
That Market stall Nam ngiew looks really super!!! Whats great about stalls like these is their focus on dishes they do daily... Woww the way you finished the Nam ngiew makes this a new must go to place on my next Chiangmai trip!!!!

yup watch all of his videos, there's a certain expression he makes that tells you that he did not like it at all. He's just way too nice to say anything bad about any food.
His old subscriber would know it how good or bad the food is by looking at his expression
Such a shame to see all this plastic waste in the street food vids. Food looks incredible but I can’t stop seeing the plastic. Countries like Thailand need to do more about this. I think Mark mentioned this in a previous vid. I think it’s important to keep mentioning this and hopefully one day people will listen.

I have always been excited to travel to Philippines since 2018 when I've planned it together with my boyfriend just for the flights to get cancelled, but I clearly understand why it should be done.
