Honda elevate is a great car and I would say it has almost similar hardware jo hume honda city m milta h…the issue which you are facing will be resolved with elevate although the only downside is avg and pick is a bit less if we compare it with city whereas iski drivability awsome h. Its a great option for honda lovers who want to have an SUV rather than a sedan…kindly let me know if this answers your query

Yes Sir... mere bhai ke pass thi City 2007 model amazzing thi.... after 15 year we sold ... now me driving.. i10 2007 CnG converted... So mere Liye toh new generation City like Heaven rahengi... and same with Elevate... bass waiting for proper review after coming in market.. ki kuch issue toh nai.. as it's 1st time SUV from Honda...

Yes, Honda city m bhi same problem h iski ground clear vese to 165 mm h but due to low engine guard its has low approach angle due to which neeche car lgne ki possibilities increase ho jati h but

I have been to many places aur mujhe ek bar ye issue face hua tha when I went to joshimath m otherwise kabhi nhi hua.
But my personal suggestion is that you should go for a 5 star rated car as it is a extra insurance for your life…so you can also look into VW/skoda cars as they have high ground clearance but the only prob is that they provide 1000cc engine in this price point….
Feel free to let me know if you have any other doubt on the same

@@shivamshivach21 I can understand I was in the same issue when I was buying the car, but I went with city because of its safety rating and ivtech engine…ground clearance wont matter for my because my normal drive is either in city or highway to ground clearance was not an issue, as you were a honda owner you can understand what i am trying to say here 😊
I would suggest that make your prioritise your requirements and make a decision on that

See elevate have the similar wheelbase as that of its rivals therefore it is for 5 people only.
In my opinion it doesnt matter much as both city and elevate are for 5 people sitting capacity only. In the end it comes down to if you want to have an suv then you should buy elevate or else city is always great option…moreover one thing is that in elevate the wheelbase would be higher than that of city which means that 5 people can sit in elevate slightly more comfortably than city.
I wouldnt suggest you to wait for electric version as it is expected to launch after 3 years and moreover as a consumer we dont know the durability and cost of money an electric car would need…

@@AlmostGod007 according to me there wont be any issue in elevate being a new product because its just like citys hardware is being put in a body of SUV and secondly you see other products of honda all are best in class, reliable and durable ( be it amaze, jazz(now discontinued) ….
Also you mentioned that you want to keep the car for 12-14 years and if you want to go for elevate I dont think it wont be a problem because its engine is same as that of city and it is reliable and durable so there shouldnt be any issue….but if you are skeptical about elevate and you dont want to wait then go for city otherwise in my opinion elevate would be as good as city is….
