I was born in Croydon and spent 36 years in Croydon, which was half of my life. I have not been back since, it’s brought back so many memories. I noticed many shops closed. The Whitgift Centre is quite rundown. I used to sell bananas and work in Surrey Street, Croydon's famous market. When you were getting to the end of your video on the left where they are building all those new flats used to have some stunning houses all the way along from West Croydon station. it is very sad to see all of those gone, and then you had the bus garage towards the end of those houses where I used to work because I was a bus driver. If you turn right you go towards the Crystal Palace, football ground. So many memories. 🥲 Thank you so much. I have tears in my eyes.🥲
