There's this really subtle arc in the show that starts where Danny is scared, suspicious and quick to fight ghosts because all of a sudden these creatures he wasn't even sure existed until now (except for the stuff his parents told him) are making a scene and being creepy. He's also worried for himself since now he's kinda one of them and not sure what this means for him. Over time, meeting new ghosts, being in situations that forces him to talk to them like people and seeing other ghost hunters like Valarie or the GIW treat ghosts so harshly. That coupled with his growing control over his powers and the all the ways being half ghost makes him a better person changes him and helps him find tolerance and acceptance I have a lot of gripes with season 3 but I do like that there are a lot more instances where he'll reach out to other ghosts more or let them go after deeming they're not threats. He even defends some of them against ghost hunters.
@SmiffyLel True, but as the series went on Danny also learned that not all ghosts are evil, like take that dragon lady for example she wasn't really evil she was just doing whatever her brother told her to do.
That was mean Danny. All she did was say hello, try to grant a free wish, and reach in your direction. The cotton candy may have buried people but it's soft. She didn't hurt anyone, and you hit her so freaking hard.
To be fair he was just trying to push her out of his personal space which is understandable. He didn't even know he had the power to blast her away until he did it.
Am I the only that thinks Danny thought Desiree was going to touch him inappropriately? I mean the way she said "surely there is something you desire" or whatever kind of gave off that type of vibe. Maybe that's why he blasted her. Idk.
Fan theory says he, ahem, has the anatomy that would make touching his chest inappropriate (you'd be amazed what you can hide with a tight under-shirt of the non-stretch material). Made worse by the fact that, being a boy, he's very unhappy about that anatomy and very much wouldn't appreciate strangers alluding to knowing about his situation. Panicking about being found out as trans would definitely explain the sudden and extreme reaction.

And if it's slow down, is it like it'll take him 20 years before he looks 20 so he'll live longer, or is it like he'll only age every second that he's human, however many hours he spends as a ghost will not add to his age, so that if he's in ghost form for half the 525600 minutes there are supposed to be in a year (according to 'Rent'), he'll only age half that many minute so basically only half a year every year?

One of her sisters married a man who was a eagle for 6 weeks and then a man for 1 week afterwards, and the other married a man who was a whale for 6 months and then a human for one month, they didn't go into whether or not the same rule applied to their age as well. Got me wondering if Danny's age was affected by his ghost powers, and if he stopped aging every minute he stayed as a ghost.
I agree also I know a lot of people are going to hate me for this but I feel like this show was created too early. It was way too ahead of its time and I feel like it would’ve been a smarter decision to make it in the year 2010 instead
