    Hey girl wanted to give you a little hint. If you will put paint or mod podge brushes in a plastic bag like a zip bag they want dry out and you can use them for awhile.

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  Před 6 lety +1

      It sort of depends on how thick you layer it on, but I put mine on pretty thin, and I try to give it a good hour between coats to dry.

I have already made my containers before I found ur video but going to let my 9 yr old daughter make one for my sister be fun lil project for her. I just love ur decal to glam to give a damn with diamond 💎 !! I would love to be able to get a couple of those decals for our dollar tree glitter brush holder. Please let me know if u will make some , thanks 💋💄💎❣️

  • @KikiThicc
    @KikiThicc Před 6 lety +2

    I'm doing this right now and I can see the brush strokes and it looks like the glitter is thicker in those areas. Anything I can do now? There are already 3 coats and it hasn't stopped.

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  Před 6 lety

      Sometimes it will do that. Some of mine do, and I just wait until everything is 100% dry, then just add another coat, making sure the Mod Podge is spread on really thinly.

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  Před 6 lety +1

      I sure will! Yes, I use the Design Space to make them.

    • @kellywinsor7048
      @kellywinsor7048 Před 6 lety +1

      I have made several shirts but I used my Expression and the cartridges to cut the transfer. I also have an Explore Air 2, but I am having trouble using Design Space. I would live an instructional video that shows the steps to use in Design Space before you cut the vinyl. Thank you so much for your videos!

    Hey love ! You glasses were gorgeous 💕 But Do you use mod lodge to lock the glitter in for the final coat or do you use epoxy ?

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  Před 3 lety +1

      Usually for make up brushes I just use mod podge. But if you think there might be a chance of water or something being splashed into it, i would use epoxy

    Hi! I've got a stemware glass that lost it's mate. Any ideas for one stemware glass?

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  Před 6 lety

      You could fill the glass with something pretty, like shells or beads, then use E6000 to glue a circle of card stock over the opening to hold it all in. Flip it upside down, and set a candle on top.

    • @jasmainh6704

      Oh and another thing does it matter which mod podge you use for sealing

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  Před 5 lety

      It doesnt really matter. Gloss or matte either one will work. I’ve seen a lot of people on Etsy selling precut vinyl decals and such. Or you can get stencils and use Armor Etch to etch the glass.
