The Bratz Dana Doll revamp with an early y2k fashion outfit was a collaboration with my friend Etellan. Revamping a 17 year old doll was challenging, fun and insane. I made her into an expensive high art fashion doll. - Jak na to + styl

2005 AKA 8th grade... ICONIC! I never owned a Bratz doll either. I was "too old" for them when they came out... I say as I am 30 years old with my entire original barbie collection, clothes, furniture, food and accessories. 🤣
We're never too old for these things!! Our inner child will always be there even when we're old and wrinkly lol

I was 15, and collected them and had em til my mom gave em away
My mom bought me them because I looked like yasmin lol I was 15 too. I actually loved them when I opened it from then on she bought me a new one a few times a year. She worked at Walmart and everyone always wanted to see me because her coworker couldn't believe how much Iooked like the doll.
I was 5 lol I had a ton of brats dolls. Really wish I kept ahold of them. 😭

@@MoonlightJewel They both have their pros and cons, though selling the files via popular 3D printing sites would definitively be awesome for dollmakers living in places where shipping fees and customs would make it too expensive to buy full 3D printed parts. I'd love to know bluepixiearts thoughts on it!

This is so beautiful, when I was a kid and played with Bratz dolls, I think this is what they looked like in my head. It was never as much fun in reality.

Some of my earliest childhood memories are of me playing with my Dana Space Angelz doll at my grandma's house in the spare bedroom. Of course, being only 4 years old and having no knowledge of Bratz outside of the two dolls I owned and the four movies I had watched, I thought she was a Chloe doll. It was only about a year ago when I watched someone refurbish old Bratz dolls and heard them call my childhood doll Dana instead of Chloe. One Google search later and, sure enough, I'd had a Dana Space Angelz doll as a kid. I think your interpretation is beautiful, 4 year old me would've loved her and 17 year old me loves her too! Makes me want to go find the original doll myself just to have it again.
I've never been super duper fond of Bratz faces, but this one is soooo gorgeous! She has such a gentle expression, I love it

omg!!! i had this doll when i was a kid 😭💖 my sister and i loved her so much that my mom got two of them! absolutely loving this revamp series, can’t wait for more!! 💕
I was at the wrong age for Bratz dolls, but my sister wasn’t. She had an extensive collection. I resented them, but not for all the reasons other people did. I was just angry about their noses. I’ve always loved noses, and I just couldn’t tolerate their near lack of one.
Honestly, though, they breathed life into the fashion doll market that wasn’t there before. Even at the time I saw their potential. I feel like Rainbow High is as close as any doll (“for kids”) has come to meeting my own personal ideal. Even when I played with Barbies in the early nineties, I was frustrated by their lack of articulation, the sameness of their faces and bodies, and the way every article of clothing and every accessory came in a shade of pink that made me ill.
I was never a doll snob, mind you. But I prized every doll I had that stood out. My Jasmine doll, my Native American collector doll (that I immediately ripped from the package because there was no way in hell I wasn’t playing with her), even an Esmerelda doll that had a plush body. Aladdin was may favorite Ken doll.
I think that’s why I love these videos so much. I know now I was never alone in seeing the potential of fashion dolls. I love seeing them given new life by people like you. It’s why I’m currently working to create my own doll. Not for sale, mind you. Just a doll I’ve always wanted, just for me. Because now I know I can. Thank you. 💕

You’re clothes are always next level, it’s never my fav part to watch except on your videos. And a nose ring on a Bratz nose brings out her features so much better than I imagined. I’ve never been a big fan of Bratz dolls.. until now. Wow

The way you moved her arms read as "WHY AREN'T THEY ARTICULATED?? GRRRR", lol. I hadn't even gotten to the part where you'd 3D printed her a new body with more articulated joints so I'm using that as evidence!! Man, Bratz were my jam in 2005. I was in kindergarten but I always loved dolls and stuff, so this is super super cool.
My top two favorite bratz dolls were Yasmin and Dana. I never had a Dana doll before, but her style was always a vibe for me. And you captured that 100% with this doll!

My uncle bought me tons of Bratz dolls as a kid, I was very spoiled by him (as were my sister, mother and father). My favorite one was a talking Chloe! God, I miss him. He died in early 2017, so the dolls make me think of him.
