Felicity and Afie singing dual leads and harmonies, so damn talented. She has so much control, hitting such perfect pitches without belting it out takes so much control. Great band !
Bahamas is this enigma of music...just incredible musicality and lyrics, yet somehow they are relatively unknown by the world. I heard them on the radio and the DJ was talking about how much he liked Bahamas and I feel like that's the general sentiment about Bahamas...if you know them, you love them. So, what is the missing ingredient here? Why are they not a household name? Each album is better than the last. I've seen them in concert a couple of times and both times were excellent. I've come to the conclusion that it's not Bahamas that is lacking, however it's the collective stupidity of the general population- I'm sorry Bahamas, we'll catch up and recognize your genius some day

Totally thought this reminded me of D’Angelo. I was thinking “Devil’s Pie” by the time I heard the first track Affie released off of the new album. I found out here that he indeed worked with D’Angelo’s producers. Makes good sense. Bahamas is seriously talented. Sounds like “white-boy neo-soul.” Awesomeness!

Entirely agree re the contribution of Felicity Williams to Afie's music. Personally think the apex of Bahamas to date has been when Felicity twinned with Carleigh Atkins
