Yeah i built mine as ETB Tribal with flickers effects. Put all 11 gates in and Mazes end. Ended up like a typical Yarok deck but with more shenanigans.

Fun fact about risen reef, you don't have too reveal the card unless its a land you put on the battlefield, and you can also choose to put the land to your hand if you dont have a land drop to make that turn

Ironically, it was Martin's greed for tokens and cards that cost him the game... had he kept the Graverobber and two mana open, he could've gotten rid of the Mindslaver.
Worth it.
I agree with both comments, Martin was too greedy. And doubling anointed procession! What was he thinking? with an engine set up with no may clause and too much mana for his opponents (one who plays small spells)! He sure put himself at risk and that ended up happening.
And yes worth it because it feels ecstatic to draw that much and feel that much power. Few times one gets to have that going.
The rat... I mean Golos deck looks damn expensive.
The duals alone are probably more expensive than all of my decks combined... maybe even my entire card collection.
I think the Rat Colonies also help.
It could have been easily build on a smaller budget just by not using Secret Lair cards and making similar mana base as Max.

2:48 FYI, you don't need to reveal the reef trigger. You just need to look at it and if it's a land you MAY put it on the battlefield.

Golos Swarmyard is amazing to see. I'm planning on making Golos Scout tribal and hopefully it goes well.
Are there any other scouts in existence?
@@owneyw4374 there's 144 other scouts, including things like Tireless Tracker, Goblin Guide, and a cycle of two coloured scouts with protection from the shared enemy colour. Lot of ally scouts too.

@@owneyw4374 they honestly have. Most of them are actually pretty nice having various types of evasion (usually swampwalk, when considering landwalk) and protection

Muddstah killing 3 players with one use of mindslaver was insane. Golos rat tribal also looks pretty fun
Add endrek sahr to the golos deck because as long as your creatures aren’t thrulls you can make more tokens
If only Swarmyard regenerated Thrull,
The interaction with the copy of 'Anointed Procession' works differently. When two effects say: ''create twice that many of those tokens instead.'' they each trigger seperatly, not of each other. Which means, when Martin gets to create a token from his 'dragonlair spider' the Anointed Procession triggers creating twice as many, in this case 1 token and the Clever Impersonator does the same, creating 1 additional token from the trigger. For a total of 3 tokens.
Same goes for when he activates 'Marrow Gnawer' getting a trigger to create 4 tokens, Anointed Procession triggers to create twice as many of those tokens, creating 4 and Clever Impersonator does the same. For a total of 12 tokens, not 16.

I love Conspiracy. I run it in my Karlov deck with Restoration Angel and something like Soul Warden, nobody expects it the first time. Martin won the sweet deck by a mile today, awesome deck!

damn, that was one of the best games you uploaded this far. I really loved the rat and elemental decks (always got a love for tribal) and i didn't expect you would be able to pull of that win!
Nath underperformed a little bit, but atleast he could still just play the game.

Pretty heads up play to blow up the discovery so you could attack without Martin milling out. I think most ppl would've tunnel visioned and only killed Martin in that situation.
I love the rat deck!!! I use Marrow Gnawer as a commander.
When you had control over that turn though, you could also have killed all his creatures by using Mirror Entity choosing 0 for X :)
Vanquishers banner would still give them a +1/+1 making them 1/1's. If that weren't there, then yes youd be correct

Correct me if I’m mistaken, but in the instance that Muddstah couldn’t finish off Martin could he not have just used Mirror Entity to make all of Martin’s creatures 0/0s at the end step?
Martin had Vanquisher's Banner. His creatures would still receive the +1/+1 boost.

Small note, Risen Reef does not reveal the top card of the deck with it's etb/trigger
Pretty sure you missed a infinite spine loop. Spine+steel+little ugin+kci = infinite colorless mana and infinite spine loops. Keeping og spine in play, copy with steel, sack to kci, it returns to hand because of the spine replacement clause. It cost 2 less because of ugin. Cast steel start looping.
Very nice that Golos deck. Only... blowing up your only answer to a Daretti deck, that is based on graveyard shenanigans, and that has shown to have explosive turns in the same game, with an ability that can be activated at instant speed and not killing the planeswalkers... that was a bad move.

This game was awesome! Had me laughing every time Martin drew 4 cards.

What do you think about the War of the Sparks Planeswalkers with static abilities? I see a lot of situation where people just tend to forget those static effects, like the Cost reduction of Ugin in this game. Just wanted to know what you think about the added complexity to commander games. Great games and stay healthy ;)

Not sure if I missed this but couldn't something have been sacced to the Altar of Dementia before the mindslaver stolen turn to remove the rats from the game. Andrew probably would have still won but it would have been funnier to deny the Mindslaver
I believe we counted up the cards left. It wasn't enough if I recall correctly.
Why did you reveal smothering tide from risen reef?

@@MTGMuddstah Coiling Oracle makes you reveal, and as someone who plays with both cards I frequently make this mistake. I've used Oracle for a long time and the reveal from the EBT is habitual.
about the reef, the player should not reveal the card unless is a land, he gave additional info to their opponents

Risen Reef doesn't reveal the card you just look it and if it's a land you may put tapped onto the battlefield but if isn't a land or you just don't wanna put it tapped you put it into your hand without revealing

As far as I know you don’t reveal the card on top with Risen Reef unless it’s a land.
Edit: I commented when Smothering Tithe was revealed, not knowing that the mistake was fixed later in the game.
