    I've been really considering the DJI system, but your guys' subliminal advertising is pushing me away from it. Every video is "brought to you by DJI", "sponsored by DJI", and it's just too dang rehearsed to be convincing. After seeing how the goggles look on you guys, I have to wait until they come out with version 2 of them. Great video otherwise though.

    • @kabturek
      @kabturek Před 4 lety +4

      they are legally obliged to say that. at least you know they are sponsored (not like the fake banggood reviewers that live from affiliate marketing). Just take everything with a a grain of salt.

    • @plemli
      @plemli Před 4 lety

      @Chris Stone It seems like DJI never ever makes anything compatible with anything else, including their own products. It's a highly negative aspect and limiting how much one wants to "invest". I for one would spend a lot more knowing that e.g. the goggles I'd buy today would work with any older equipment and also with what comes next and next after.

    • @RADERFPV
      @RADERFPV Před 4 lety

      @@kabturek Very good point, and I shouldn't have been so rude with my goggle wearing comment, but it does get a bit old seeing dji over and over again. I guess that's what I was getting after. Not hating on the system though... I can't, because I haven't tried it yet.

    • @swissfreek
      @swissfreek Před 4 lety +1

      For what it's worth, I was put off by the "hype" as well at first. But some of my friends who aren't sponsored by anyone have gotten them, and *their* response has been the same as all the videos, even to the point where some of them were like "I thought they'd be decent, but figured it was a lot of hype, but it's not, and I'm completely sold." No, they're not perfect, and I haven't had a chance to try them, but so far I haven't heard anyone say anything different than what RotorRiot has been saying.

    • @swissfreek
      @swissfreek Před 4 lety +2

      @@RADERFPV Ultimately, they gotta pay the bills. I have yet to talk to a single person that has tried these things and not been blown away (OK fine, maybe Steele, but that's par for the course isn't it?). So it's not like they are using them even though they don't really work just because they are being paid. Same way FliteTest became sponsored by Horizon and now exclusively uses Spektrum radios.

    There's no secret to flying backwards. An enlarged hippocampus (the part of the brain responsible for spacial awareness) is what is more likely responsible. Cricket could probably handle a sports car like a champ too.

    Flying backwards in a public areas..... What could possibly go wrong? This is the sort of clip that will hasten drone registration in countries still to make it compulsory.

    All right, this was a good hoax, I'll admit it. Pretty funny. Now show us how to set up the servo-controlled GoPro mount you use for all the "yaw spins" and "backward flying". :P

    After seeing crickets style, I can see why he uses a 0 degree camera angle.
