I thought this was going to be the hardest song yet to record, with all the intricate lead stuff and all, but because my band Nimbus back in the day had previously covered this one many times, it came back pretty fast, and somehow I landed a keeper take on this one quicker and easier than all the rest so far, yay!
And yes, I am so old that I actually did get that shirt when I saw them on their 2004 tour. The shirt is from one of those parking lot fake shirt dudes after the show, sorry Muse. But hey, I still wear it to this day, and still remember that show and those times fondly, so hopefully that counts for something?

I still don't know what it is about Muse, they've got that extra "SOMETHING" and I've had a massive love for everything they do since the early 00's (I know - I came into their fandom late in the piece!)
I absolutely love all the energy and emotion you've put into this one - I feel it!
If I had a 2nd life to live over - I'd definitely be taking up guitar! (I have enough hobbies and loves that I've invested in this life to fill-up my existing life - so instead I just take in all the incredible musical geniuses like yourself who're willing to put yourself out there!)

Wow, thank you Nolan. I appreciate your comment very much. It made my week to hear those kind words! I have loved Muse since way back as well, and also find they have some special about them. I think they are all musical geniuses or something as they have so many cool musical tricks and surprises in practically every song, and are just plain virtuosos on their instruments. I saw them in 2004 on the absolution tour, it was incredible. I totally understand what you mean about only having enough time for so many passions, etc. I have spent my life on music for better or worse, and if I could do it over again I think I would become a master carpenter like my grandfather, and buy some land, and build myself a homestead in the mountains somewhere. A man can dream haha. For now I will continue to jam, and am extremely grateful for people enjoying it, so thank you very much for listening! I appreciate you. Thanks and be well.

Ok, 2 things- first, I was jamming along on bass. You should have just had me do your backing track.
Second- I think you should Velcro an ebow to your sleeve for songs like this. That way you can go back and forth.
