A person who can do a good demo of the guitars capabilities while not over talking or making it about himself etc.. is hard to find on YT. This person does a fantastic job of showcasing the instrument. I can really appreciate that, Thanks very much!
Plays the right stuff, and never overplays. Dials the right sound to bring out the best he could possibly get out of the gear. Plays to demo and not to impress. THIS IS HOW EVERY DEMO SHOULD BE!!! I can listen to RJ play than any mindless shredders any day!!!
But where's the craziness of Greg Koch? Imagine those two playn together? Is it just my old ears or....are larger guitars always better sounding? And this one dont show fingerprints!

I have this guitar for 2 years now . And its a real killer. Nice looks , fretboard ,headstock and very cool color. Does feel little weird there is no lacquer on the body but it feels very alive. Needed to use a wound g string though or g string played not in tune.
RJ is amazing! He clearly shows all the possible sounds you can get with this guitar. Although he can probably make any guitar he plays sound great with his talent and skill.
This guy is capable of playing lots of genres great hence it shows the capabilities of the instrument. So thank you for this great demo .This is gonna be my next axe!

Question: Is my anatomy wrong or do you need to be double jointed to do the thumb over technique? Feel like I will break my thumb to get it to go over and work like that (i can get close but just can’t get it to bend that way…) 😢
Sounds great - how does it feel to you as far as the neck and thick body? Do you have to be careful with the overdrive? I was surprised how hard you were able to push it. What is the difference between this one and the x-175b, from your perspective?

I have a guild x 175 with franz pickups and a gretsch 5420. The gretsch is a good guitar but in my opinion the guild is a step up in quality.
