Yes, Michael is a stand up guy! I had many questions and had a hard time picking leather colors. He was kind enough to make suggestions and even send me photos of combos I wanted to see side-by-side. I've had a Topsider for a while now and love it! It's a great front pocket wallet that holds all the cards I need. And I rarely have cash, but when I do, I like that it's easy to carry and get to in this wallet. Absolutely recommended!
I like the houbie, gun deck quick draw and topsider bifold. Just got the top sider bifold about a month ago and love it.
I've gone super minimalist for my main EDC and the Hot Rack is outstanding! Right front pocket and it's almost like it isn't even there.
I have the Gundeck and the Topsider. I personally prefer the Topsider because the Gundeck is just a tad too oversized. I carry Topsider as my primary wallet in my pocket, and then the Gundeck is a wallet I carry in my bag just for business cards. I love the work he does and think the designs are so simple and genius!
Have 2 topsiders, by far my favourite wallet! Have owned many wallets, before this the Trayvax element was my favourite, but the topsider is just so minimal, lightweight, small and takes a great patina patina patina!

I have had that exact natural topsider for about a year and a half and it has aged BEAUTIFULLY. I messaged back and forth with Michael to make sure I would end up with that golden tan look and that was his recommendation. You will certainly not be disappointed.

I have a topsider with the quick access slot and a hot rack. Both are just awesome. Hot rack is nice a minimalist for shorts and the topsider is great for everything else.
I got a Topsider and it's been the best wallet I owned. I usually switches my wallet every couple of months, but this ones has been in my pocket since September. Its the best and now I want to order a custom one
I went a little less minimal and got the 50/50. Two tone. Love it so far, Only had it like 3 weeks. Neatsfoot oiled it lightly once. Wondering how often does it need that.
Houbei looks interesting. That would be the one I would order. The deciding factor is I really like the pocket on the back. I use my debit card most of the time. So having that card alone in the back pocket is convenient for quick easy access.

I've gone very minimal with my wallet these days. I currently use a wallet that hold my goto CC and ID on the outside, and then a larger single pocket inside for other cards, no cash options. For a lot of people I think that makes sense these days.
I believe, even now, the regularly sized Gun Deck and Topsider are slightly different in size. The Gun Deck (which is a horizontal design) is 4.25" across and 3" tall, and the Topsider (which is a vertical design) is 3.25" across and 4" tall. The Gun Deck fits dollar bills when folded in half, while the Topsider fits unfolded dollar bills (where the bills are folded over when the flap is closed). Then there's the mini versions of each, which are primarily CC holders. So many styles and options... which will I choose??? Thanks for the review.

So the houbei 2.0 .. the two tone gets me.. is the color thats on the front and back the "main color while the rest and (most of the leather) the sec color?

I have a gundeck quick draw but really want to get a Houbei 2.0 so I'm going to save for it my gundeck quick draw is dark brown and blue with black stitching I saw it on his website before he was open sea and loved the color I did have a metal wallet it was ok but leather is the way to go

I have and use a Gun Deck wallet from 2015, and just ordered a Topsider. And now I see the code for the 10% off that I missed out on... Oh well, I know I will be happy with the Topsider when I get it and it will be worth the price. My son has a Gun Deck wallet that I gave him for Christmas that hasn't even been used...

I would actually like the topsider, because I carry about 2"'s of cash with a rubber band around my wallet. I have had the same wallet since joiner year in high school (99) ... I won't get rid of it but I would like to slim it down to something more classy

a lot of people carry these in their front pocket! they're quite thin as long as you're okay with the 3" x 4.25" footprint. if you need something smaller than that then he's coming out with a mini version of the gun deck soon that is way smaller, but you have to quarter fold cash to fit inside.
