    Higantes islands is a combination of Boracay and Palawan, with a little money to spend. Not too crowded, it is not abused. Its the best place to enjoy and have fun.

    I've seen most of your videos all the way from the beginning, including, Canada, Cambodia, and Albania, and I think this was my favorite of all time! If you get any better at this you will be ready for an Oscar Award! My wife's from Iloilo City (Mandurriao) and we've lived in Missouri for the past 24 years now. But we hope to move back there to Iloilo as soon as possible. Maybe in a year, like you. I can't wait to go to those islands!

    Another gem in Northern part of Iloilo is Concepcion Iloilo just near Sara and Isla de Gigantes. It has white beaches, balaskayo diving site, an inactive volcano, Mt. Manaphag peak, bluecrab hatchery for export, lumpatan beach but many of these are not flocked by tourist. Another one is Sicogon island in Carles it has its own air strip but a more high end resort.Another thing to visit in Isla de Gigantes by the way is the Bakwit Cave.

    Almost 20K Subs, that's great! You have some interesting content. Keep persevering, theres a sea of Vloggers in the Phil, but a big culling is coming when adsense goes away. Supercheats and stickers on live content. Patreon and channel memberships. To reach the 7,000 count they count rocks sticking out of the ocean as an Island, supposedly there are 2,000 with people. A funny story, when I was inquireing about going to Apo Island off of Dumaguete they wanted like 1,000 peso for the ride which included the junk fees that Apo Island hits you with, but a local told me that they pay 20 peso to get the ride to or from. They live on Apo Island.

    • @ThatPhilippinesLife
      @ThatPhilippinesLife  Před 5 měsíci

      I just googled what you said, there is nothing on the internet about Adsense being dropped, last year they made it easier for people to start earning but that's all the news I can find. Something like that would be burning up places like Reddit? Can you share where you heard that from?

    Barangay is the smallest local government unit. But within barangays, they usually split them into 'purok'. So they said they are in Purok Uno, meaning there could be Purok Dos, Purok Tres, Purok Cuatro etc...

    • @ThatPhilippinesLife
      @ThatPhilippinesLife  Před 5 měsíci +1

      That's so interesting, now it makes sense what they were telling me

    • @fortuneybiernas5778
      @fortuneybiernas5778 Před 5 měsíci

      So barangay, towns or cities, provinces, regions

    • @fortuneybiernas5778
      @fortuneybiernas5778 Před 5 měsíci

      Now cities are classified as to Highly Urbanized Cities HUC or regular cities. Towns have classes depending on income probably from 1st to 5th. Some HUCs are independent cities meaning the province has no control on that city. For example, Iloilo and Cebu are independents. Residents of these cities don't vote for Provincial positions. They are capital cities so the Provincial Capitol is located there but governor has no power. The chief in the city is the Mayor and usually it has a congressman representing them in the House of Representatives. Passi is not independent, its called a component city.

    • @fortuneybiernas5778
      @fortuneybiernas5778 Před 5 měsíci

      Some component cities depending on population and income can have a congressman on solo basis. For example, the 1st LGU of Cavite once you get out of Metro Manila is Bacoor. Since component, it votes for Provincial positions and it also has a congressman. Whereas Cavite City, also a component but does not have its own congressman on solo basis. They are part of 1st district and share a congressman with other towns like Kawit, Rosario and Noveleta.
