The way the other flash he meets is wearing all reverse flash colors from his hoodie to his scarf and even headphones, that pretty specific brownish yellow, makes me think the other him ends up fulfilling reverse flash's role in the comic, basically try to keep him from un doing the timeline he created
As a quick note, before social media existed... if you were going to trash or cancel stars (actors) with criminal records... Half to all the best movies ever made would not exist. Don't have to love the actor, respect the art. And also, Keaton is KING of bats!

It's very telling that the least interesting thing people are reacting to is The Flash himself. In what should be an emotional story about a boy saving his mother, we are all indifferent and that's probably due to Ezra Miller's real life behavior. So while I'm not jumping out of my seat for The Flash, I'm excited to see both Batmen, Supergirl, Zod, and whatever DC world stuff they pack into this film, and will watch it to support Andy Muschietti and the hundreds of others who poured their hearts and souls into making this movie.
Yeah, that's mostly the take I've had from all the reactions (and I think I've completed them on YT now 😂). There's some comments about the new Flash suit, but the main excitement seems to be around everything other than Flash himself. Kind of a shame, because I do like the character. Maybe when Gunn takes over we'll finally get some sort of coherent DCU?
Ezra Miller is rather a 'meh' issue now as he is actually facing charges and hopefully the court will decide a proper price they have to pay. It's good to see this happen to people again. Still would have preferred they recast the role; but I'm not going to miss the first Flash movie because of them.
Ive watched flashpoint animated movie so its normal for me to see other heroes present in this flash movie. I believe clark (Cavill) was killed by zod. The governments is actually working for Zod. Kara came later to earth and was imprisoned. Barry has to reset the timeline so all the missing heroes can come back. Barry needed kara and keaton help in retrieving a kryptonian tech to get his powers back thus a confrontation with Zod. When he gets his powers he will set things right resetting dcu. Thats my theory.
This is basically The Flashpoint story and it's gonna reboot the whole DCEU. Probably the last DCEU movie because we still don't know what's gonna happen in Shazam 2 or Aquaman 2.
Also, looks like there's no superman similar to the comic, except they find Cara instead of Clark later on in the story, thus her seemingly being in like a prison jump suit and busted out by Keaton's Batman.. anyway, I'm guessing without superman the events of Man of steel with Zod and the World Engine play out differently...
Maybe Mr. Majestic shows up. I'll always believe that storyline where Mr. Majestic pops into the DC proper and then returns to Wildstorm Earth where he finds his people planning to Kheraform the Earth with World Engines was the basis for that plot point.

my thing is, Keaton is a damn good 71yo. like DAMN GOOD SHAPE. but this may also be the first and only time we get to see his iteration, the GOAT, be a menace. His batman was Camp. Tim Burton directed it! it was campy. It was all gadgets, barely any fighting, which is also why he was injured all the time, lol so seeing Keaton in the suit, looking damn good in it, and kicking serious ass is THE ONLY REASON I am going to see this in theaters.

They have objectified a lot of male heroes in the mcu like captain america in his first movie and thor in love and thunder and those are just two examples but no one said anything and now because she's a female you care, well that's definitely not equality. You only give a damn about the females but what happens to the male characters i guess that's not a problem. Great logic.
So on the one hand this is a good trailer and has me interested enough to give it a try. On the other this is at least the third version of Flashpoint they've put to screen in the last decade, surely there's another way to do a reboot story? On the... umm... third hand once the initial 'ooh, shiny' hit wore off I've found myself wondering why I should really care. We know everything's basically getting thrown out so if you really end up enjoying these characters and they survive the movie it's almost certainly the end of the line anyway. It also feels somewhat overstuffed which considering this is old DCEU has me worried it's either going to be twelve hours long or a lot of the cool stuff won't be developed properly. Example: while I love the idea of Kara replacing Clark (she's a better character with the post-crisis back story, so long as it's not taken too far into grimdark territory IMO) and *really* love the idea they're doing Woman of Tomorrow as its own thing there's no guarantee that we'll see the same Kara in both. Makes it much harder to really get invested in this version, again IMO. And on the fourth hand there's the Ezra Miller problem. Just... do I really want to pay money to support what's going on there?
I am glad someone else finally is saying that one of the Flashes is the villain. I was hoping for that in the TV show but they kinda dropped the ball on it. I completely hope that one Flash is the villain, so we can HATE Ezra alongside of liking the movie. Because the idea of a disillusioned, villainous Flash fighting his younget, more optimistic selves, or a reverse.. yeeeeesssss.
