That pool RX is magic, is all I can say. I love it, it's a secret the pool shop doesn't want you to know haha.

I used poolrx last year when cya was super high, on water restrictions, and had mustard algae. This year, i didnt use it until this August when mustard algae returned. I have had it in 4 days, mustard algae almost completely gone, pool looks amazing!

I’ve used them for a couple of summers here in Phoenix and I would say they are effective. I have a 3x5’x3 play pool about 16,000 cubic feet. With the extreme heat here in Phoenix you will need to stay on top of chlorine.

I put this in my pool, and it shot up my copper numbers like crazy. I had to take it out.

Have been using for 2 months or so because I couldn’t keep algae gone. It’s a miracle! Pool never looked so good with so little effort.

Did you say customers want the pool drained every week? I'm doing good to get my customer to drain the pool every 3 years.

I am concerned that it may stain my pool purple. I have read a few complaints about it staining either purple, or leaving black spots. Thoughts?

have pool water tested for copper and metals. even then using liquid chlorine will have nill effect against the staining . regular pool shock or calcium hypochlorite will not suspend the metals. when we do metal removal in pools we go to liquid chlorine for a little bit

Can the PoolRx cannister be refilled or do I buy a completely new one each time? Thanks

I think they sell a booster, which is to re fill the canister

All the pool RX thing is is a 3 inch copper pipe. You could go to Lowe’s or Home Depot or Menards or even find a scrap piece of copper tubing on the side of the road and put that in your skimmer basket. What makes the pool RX good is that little $40 tub of chemicals That you put in the pool. That stuff reacts with the copper and activate all of this algae killing science don’t blame me? Take your pool RX thing apart and it’ll just be a copper pipe.

Confused about your comment. Yes the inside is a copper pipe, but they also have a little slow dissolve backet inside the pipe right? so it is not just a pipe.

Unfortunately I did not have success with this product... Phoenix AZ area (I think we had 60 days straight of 100 degrees or more this past summer 2020)

I was wondering how this would work here in Phoenix as well. Hopefully this summer won’t be as brutal as last.

Half drain the pool and stop using Chlorine tabs/sticks for a while. 100+ you could be chlorine locking your pool

My time is too valuable to spend 20 minutes watching two people say the same thing over and over again. Please shorten your videos to around 5 minutes. Dr. Eric Berg tries to keep his around 5 minutes and his viewership grew to 8 million viewers quickly.
