Wow that boat was in impeccable condition for it’s age and the owner did a lot of work on her in a short amount of time and has her in tip top condition! Wow! Thank you for sharing!
A special thanks goes out to the owner and Captain for taking such good care of this Santorin, and for giving us this tour.
What an amazing "new" Santorin! One could see the boat was special from the dinghy, when you were arriving. Clean hull, waterline, bottom, metals, the deck and cockpit are new, the engine room is cleaner than many homes I've seen :). And the wood inside is really special!
The owner seemed a very good guy also. The Santorin is very interesting option for a couple, a bit smaller than Aquarius, but not suffocating as some boats. Thanks for the tour!

Beautiful Amel Santorin. And I agree the woodwork on this boat magnificent and you said it's original wow!! So clean in and out it's in move in condition. The gentleman was very pleasant and Star struck with you Ken lol. I really enjoyed this video thanks

Most (if not all) Volvo Penta engine blocks are actually Perkins at least from that time period...it's not that it's green, has a turbo bolted on it and a Volvo badge that it's Volvo (other than for additional cost for spare parts). For example, the Volvo on Delos is Perkins engine
We have the same engine as delos.
There is one for sale here in the marina we're at. ❤

Amel 54 is pretty nice, but the Samtoin has a place. Not everyone can afford a 54! And they didn't make enough 54s so that everyone that wants one can find one.

Nice boat but those 50hp perkins 4.108 are a heap of shit from my experience or anything perkins for that matter
We have found Perkins to be decent engines.
Almost all smaller Volvos are Perkins.
Perkins is a bad motor ? Don’t say that in front of Marcus the owner of trans Atlantic diesel. He,d flip a lid . They are the premier Perkins everything in America. Super competent mechanics.
