Day one Genshin gamer here: if anyone is skepticall about pulling for him, even though Kazuha exists, Venti still being great and he doesn't feel power creep at all. He is great in abbys (specially in floors where you have to defend a tower) and great overall for exploration. Even though I'm a Kazuha simp, I can't tell you enough how good Venti still is.
he's great, but I will warn that he's less useful for veteran players who have no problems in floors 9 to 11. He has been less useful than Kazuha for 9 months straight. This can change, of course, if abyss changes. He's also quite fun to use in overworld, too.
Honestly I wouldn’t care if venti was the worst character in the game I love him as a character, but this is really helpful in learning how to build him!

Venti for me is still a better option in permafreeze teams. I do understand that Kazuha's DMG boost is nice but Venti's cc makes it way easier to permafreeze in general. Ayaka's burst gets stuck in Venti's and it's perfect ❤️
Fun fact: the cyclone from viridescent hunt will make enemies take fall damage when they're sucked into venti's burst. you can imagine the enemies going up and down because they're getting sucked from both the cyclone and the burst (the down movement does the fall damage) Update/edit 1: I just learned that using kazuha's elemental skill plunge at the end of venti's burst makes enemies take fall damage aswell (I wonder if jean's hold skill's sucking movement can also do the fall damage, so I'm testing it right now to let you guys know :P ) Update/edit 2: IT WORKED! :D Using jean's hold skill at the end of venti's burst does in fact do fall damage, the fall damage did 6k - 20k for my testing :) I hope this is helpful for you guys and this will be my last edit for this comment, stay safe and thank you for the likes :D

If you’re interested in a DPS Venti build or Venti won’t be swirling in your team, two piece viridescent with a two piece that gives you 18% attack also gives you a lot of damage. I’m a proud Venti DPS main, and I’m so happy there are more Venti havers now!!! He definitely deserved a rerun after more than a year. Great guide as always!

I’m so glad I managed to get him. I was always gonna pull for him but he’s literally saving my teams in spiral abyss. Often times, whenever I encounter small enemies and LOTS of them at once, like with spiral abyss, I always think, “I need Venti…”. In abyss itself, Vishaps, large fungi, cicin mage, and other annoying enemies are SO much easier to deal with with Venti.
He came home this morning in my first ten pull with 20 pity!!! My luckiest day in genshin tbh (since I got razor too on standart after), now i'm leveling him up and i'm gonna try building him, while saving for ayaka (since I had like, 60 fates for venti but I just used 10 😅)
I was pulling for him at first but lost hope and went for ayato, got ayato and just now decided to do a single pull to build pity for ayaka and got venti at 0 pity.. So I'm here to build him rn and spread this amazing luck
from what i've seen of him, Ayato would work well in a venti freeze team since his birst is kind of a Ganyu clone. having both of them raining in the clump of grouped up enemies doing a lot of damage and if Ganyu has better uptime for some reason then he can use his infusion window to freeze with her 0 down time burst while his has down time.

I think it's worth mentioning that 5 star EM main stat VV pieces are super rare, so a crit build is my only option at the moment. I'm also planning on getting Kazuha so I'd prioritise giving EM to him over Venti. As a result, I think the build you choose isn't just a matter of damage, but of allocating your resources.
Finally pulled for both zhongli and venti on their newest reruns and neither disappoint. Absolute powerhouse units that I will use until the end of this games life cycle. Anemo and geo are my favorite elements with electro as a close third.

I’ve been wanting this vid for a good while. And the comparison for Venti and Kazuhua is gonna be my tipping point for who I should roll for. That being said, I want them both.
I remember during his first rerun, I immediately pulled for him because of the floor 11 abyss(defend the thingy) It was really hard without. But then after pulling him, the abyss changed after 1 cycle. 😅 But still, I use Venti for the overworld and the abyss, of course it depends on the enemies.
The fact you mentioned my favorite Xiao team to play cheered me up. Like you said, Sucrose in that team comp or Jean in the double geo team of Zhongli and Albedo might be more compatible with Xiao. But I love the gremlinness that is a crit build Venti as Xiao's sub-DPS. The latest floors 12 aren't good for this team, but it's so good in domains and floors 9-10. Venti kills the little mobs, Xiao kills the big guys, and even Venti can help chipping away health for single target as long as you aim it well and try to guide the enemy into the clusterfuck. I got Venti his c2 last night because I really wanted it, and I'm already seeing the little improvement in his green ticks and Xiao's damage. It's not crazy big and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's a meta slave or not a committed Venti main/simp, but I'm enjoying the sweet anemo shred. It changes the rotations if you use other anemos so it's something new to get used to
Got him today on 76 pity! Now my archon collection is complete, and I can focus on saving for Ayaka. I missed the 50/50 for Ganyu, and I am really hoping to snag Ayaka. I also managed to get C3 sucrose along the way plus two Yunjin constellations. A perfect series of lucky pulls.
Thanks so much for these videos. They are so helpful for new players and f2p players. My next project will be building a proper freeze team for Ganyu starting with my new Venti. Now to skip everything else and save for Kazuha :)
Even though Ayato is new, I'm still pulling for Venti first because of my playstyle. Charcters like Venti are underrated for their true potential.. I've already built my Raiden National and all I need now is Venti to complete the Ayaka freeze comp team (Sucrose isn't a as good of a crowd controller and I don't have Kazuha so...) Plus Ayato seems more of a dps and his burst doesn't have as much synergy with Ayaka in a freeze comp, and he seems to be better in an electro-charged team, which I don't want to build =]
Got Ayato on guaranteed. Decided to spend the rest of my primos on Venti's banner. Wasn't expecting to get him at all but I won the 50/50 today 😭 Now my archon collection is complete. I run Raiden, Ayato, Zhongli and Venti on overworld just for the heck of it and boy do they delete enemies fast 😅 I ran to this channel so fast for the guide on how to build him lol
venti was my first 5-star istg idk how the ventiless played without him. he's so useful in general. he carried me since launch and i still don't regret spending 200 bucks on him. venti supremacy🛐🛐🛐🛐
pulled him for the quality of life that he offer for exploration,domain clearing & Flor 9-11. Yeah he can't CC majority of mobs in floor 12. But you still need to do floor 9-11 every reset so having him clear those floor faster is really quite nice. And since I personally running mono geo & rational for the abyss and they already 36* star it so I don't really need anemo character at floor 12. But if you still need some damage to be able to 36* star abyss, definitely recommend kazuha over venti if you need an anemo support.
I honestly wanted ayato but now I think about it Ayato will prob get a rerun in like idk 5 weeks or something so ima save for his rerun (I got venti 💓)
there were some people who counted the total amount of primo we get during 2.6 and if im not mistaken it was around 60 or so pulls, so you should be fine
i had like 68 pulls with 58 pity last time and i got him at 30th pull. goodluck for you tho and don't worry since you can like get 3-5k primos? at 2.6 depending on the events
I have been waiting for Venti for so long! I'm so happy I got him (also got R1 stringless on event banner after attempting to pull on 3 different weapon banners featuring stringless......) Some ppl say hes irrelevant due to the new monsters and new abyss but I honestly love him so much. Kokodayooooooooooo
I probably don't have some of the characters needed for the best team comps for him, but I still pulled for Venti because I felt he'd still benefit my account, and he was the last of the three currently available Archons that I still didn't have at the time. Thankfully I got him on the 50/50, so I won't have to worry about losing out on my chance to get Kazuha when he comes back around!
I recommend the held E if you know you're gonna kill everything with it and need that extra particle. You'll get a feel for when you need to do it given your Venti's ER%. For me, I know my E>Q>(pause to laugh at helpless treasure hoarders)>E will be enough to kill everything... but I don't have quite enough ER to get the Burst back from that unless there are 4+ enemies. So when there are fewer, I instead use a held E after the Q because that one extra particle will give me back my Burst ... so I can immediately go bully the next group with it. :D
that sequence takes away from dps time window, it would be more beneficial to try to incorporate more energy recharge into your Venti if ur running into ER issues
i let my brother do a single pull yesterday at 75 pity standard Banner, and i got skyward harp(first ever 5 star weapon) this has given me hope in getting venti, now im trying everything and saving up for his next rerun, hope il get him, this vid helped me so much, so tysm for this!!
I’ve heard recently that you need to stay on Venti for VV to proc. It won’t proc off field, which is new to me. So you have to wait for his ult to change color before swapping out
You have to wait not for the change of colour, but for the first swirl reaction to happen. Elemental absorption and swirl are two separate mechanics and vv procs with swirl, not elemental absorption. Source: Sucrose simp since 1.0

I've been wanting Venti in my team for the longest time, and ever since I got and built Kazuha and C6 Sucrose, so now I'm having second thoughts on pulling him.
Depends on what you wanna build. Venti is very different from Kazuha (while Sucrose is just poor person's Kazu). Do you need ER and CC? Pull for Venti. Are you satisfied with the Elemental Buffs and don't need broken ER or CC, then don't worry about it. You're set.
If you can 36*, who cares, pull for fun now. I can 33* easily and don't care about 36, so I'm pulling venti for fun if I wanna run morgana with my ganyu, but mainly got get xiangling cons xd
Don't let videos scare you off him. For 95% of this game, he is broken, god-tier, head-and-shoulders above every single other character in the game. If you have a weapon for it, crit builds work amazingly on him so his overlap with Kazuha/sucrose is less than people present it to be.
Venti gets a rerun in 3.1, i haven't started playing when he last ran, i am 11/10 happy. Edit: Man i have a an R5 Stringless AND a fully maxed out skyward harp. I can't decide what to give him T_T skyward harp looks cooler because signature weapon but stringless is apparently stronger. Ahhh i am torn
@@piasytric if u lack er in ur artifacts, go for elegy, if u have enough er but want more em, go for stringless. Elegy - can spam burst and still provide as much em as stringless Stringless - more burst dmg, pretty much same em So yeah personally elegy is way better but upto you

My Genshin story, i made the account and started playing when drunk so I don't remember a lot of it, what I do know is when I played for the second time I had Venti and skyward harp from my novice wishes and I used to think everyone has him. Tho now i realise how good he is, he has been my main DPS for a long time now and i have a weird mix of Crit and EM on him and I love him.
Just got him at 36 pity with a guarantee ahhh! He is my second 5 star. Now I gotta farm for everything he needs to build him since I was too busy farming primogems to get him haha. Good luck to the rest of you!!!

What’s the rotation for the Kokomi version of Morgana with Ganyu, Venti, and Rosaria? Don’t have Mona. Also, is it worth getting Ayaka so I can run Ganyu + Ayaka Freeze or is it not significant enough of an upgrade compared to running them separately? If the former, what would be the rotation for a Ganyu, Ayaka, Kokomi, Venti freeze team?
It's not significant enough. Kokomi is better than Mona in terms of permafreeze comps since Koko provides both healing and hydro proc. The current Permfreeze comps will use Shenhe or Rosaria as the best cryo battery/flex. Ayaka and Ganyu are both their own DPS. You'd essentially have an awkward position in which you are competing for who is dealing the main damage.
@@nicholas8739 Ganyu and Ayaka can work together They feed each other cryo particles and ganyu's burst buffs ayaka's cryo Compared to a normal morgana team, just replace the downtime where ganyu fires CA with ayaka's burst instead.
koko e, rosario e q, ganyu q e venti e q, ganyu CA a couple times, koko q to extend e. repeat. swap koko with rosario in the rotation if koko is holding ttds so she can buff ganyu.
The Mooun's Moon can be better than Stringless depends on what comp you are using. I'm using R5 Mouun's Moon on Venti since i'm using 90 Energy Capacity character like Raiden and Yae. You can achieve the maximum 80% elemental burst damage if you are using three characters with 90 Energy Capacity with Venti.

Venti is very helpful in the Chasm. The gliding and killing treasure hoarders. Exploration is so easy with him in my team ☺️

I’ve been wanting this vid for a good while. And the comparison for Venti and Kazuhua is gonna be my tipping point for who I should roll for. That being said, I want them both.
Day 1 Genshin player, rerolled until I got Venti and he just lifted me all the way in the game, even in exploration. He's so easy to build.
I remember during his first rerun, I immediately pulled for him because of the floor 11 abyss(defend the thingy) It was really hard without. But then after pulling him, the abyss changed after 1 cycle. 😅 But still, I use Venti for the overworld and the abyss, of course it depends on the enemies.
I've been watching build guides on this channel to pass the time since the updating started and now here is new venti guide it was meant to be

The fact you mentioned my favorite Xiao team to play cheered me up. Like you said, Sucrose in that team comp or Jean in the double geo team of Zhongli and Albedo might be more compatible with Xiao. But I love the gremlinness that is a crit build Venti as Xiao's sub-DPS. The latest floors 12 aren't good for this team, but it's so good in domains and floors 9-10. Venti kills the little mobs, Xiao kills the big guys, and even Venti can help chipping away health for single target as long as you aim it well and try to guide the enemy into the clusterfuck. I got Venti his c2 last night because I really wanted it, and I'm already seeing the little improvement in his green ticks and Xiao's damage. It's not crazy big and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's a meta slave or not a committed Venti main/simp, but I'm enjoying the sweet anemo shred. It changes the rotations if you use other anemos so it's something new to get used to
Got him today. Wanted to wait for kazuha, but venti has a special place in my heart.

Got him today on 76 pity! Now my archon collection is complete, and I can focus on saving for Ayaka. I missed the 50/50 for Ganyu, and I am really hoping to snag Ayaka. I also managed to get C3 sucrose along the way plus two Yunjin constellations. A perfect series of lucky pulls.
All I need is Xiao now then I will have all the Anemo boys. Also I am a sucker for mobility. Like Ayaka, Yelan, Wanderer, Kazuha, Venti, Xia etc.

Even though Ayato is new, I'm still pulling for Venti first because of my playstyle. Charcters like Venti are underrated for their true potential..
I've already built my Raiden National and all I need now is Venti to complete the Ayaka freeze comp team (Sucrose isn't a as good of a crowd controller and I don't have Kazuha so...) Plus Ayato seems more of a dps and his burst doesn't have as much synergy with Ayaka in a freeze comp, and he seems to be better in an electro-charged team, which I don't want to build =]

Got Ayato on guaranteed. Decided to spend the rest of my primos on Venti's banner. Wasn't expecting to get him at all but I won the 50/50 today 😭 Now my archon collection is complete. I run Raiden, Ayato, Zhongli and Venti on overworld just for the heck of it and boy do they delete enemies fast 😅 I ran to this channel so fast for the guide on how to build him lol
As I drip player, stringless looks good on him. Might go for Venti instead of Ayato.
started during his 2.6 patch and 6 months later, I am finally a venti haver! The very first 5 star I ever wanted after zhongli
venti was my first 5-star istg idk how the ventiless played without him. he's so useful in general. he carried me since launch and i still don't regret spending 200 bucks on him. venti supremacy🛐🛐🛐🛐
pulled him for the quality of life that he offer for exploration,domain clearing & Flor 9-11. Yeah he can't CC majority of mobs in floor 12. But you still need to do floor 9-11 every reset so having him clear those floor faster is really quite nice. And since I personally running mono geo & rational for the abyss and they already 36* star it so I don't really need anemo character at floor 12. But if you still need some damage to be able to 36* star abyss, definitely recommend kazuha over venti if you need an anemo support.

there were some people who counted the total amount of primo we get during 2.6 and if im not mistaken it was around 60 or so pulls, so you should be fine
i had like 68 pulls with 58 pity last time and i got him at 30th pull. goodluck for you tho and don't worry since you can like get 3-5k primos? at 2.6 depending on the events

I have been waiting for Venti for so long! I'm so happy I got him (also got R1 stringless on event banner after attempting to pull on 3 different weapon banners featuring stringless......) Some ppl say hes irrelevant due to the new monsters and new abyss but I honestly love him so much.

I probably don't have some of the characters needed for the best team comps for him, but I still pulled for Venti because I felt he'd still benefit my account, and he was the last of the three currently available Archons that I still didn't have at the time. Thankfully I got him on the 50/50, so I won't have to worry about losing out on my chance to get Kazuha when he comes back around!

I recommend the held E if you know you're gonna kill everything with it and need that extra particle. You'll get a feel for when you need to do it given your Venti's ER%.
For me, I know my E>Q>(pause to laugh at helpless treasure hoarders)>E will be enough to kill everything... but I don't have quite enough ER to get the Burst back from that unless there are 4+ enemies. So when there are fewer, I instead use a held E after the Q because that one extra particle will give me back my Burst ... so I can immediately go bully the next group with it. :D
that sequence takes away from dps time window, it would be more beneficial to try to incorporate more energy recharge into your Venti if ur running into ER issues

i let my brother do a single pull yesterday at 75 pity standard Banner, and i got skyward harp(first ever 5 star weapon) this has given me hope in getting venti, now im trying everything and saving up for his next rerun, hope il get him, this vid helped me so much, so tysm for this!!

I’ve heard recently that you need to stay on Venti for VV to proc. It won’t proc off field, which is new to me. So you have to wait for his ult to change color before swapping out
You have to wait not for the change of colour, but for the first swirl reaction to happen. Elemental absorption and swirl are two separate mechanics and vv procs with swirl, not elemental absorption. Source: Sucrose simp since 1.0
@@brodericksiz625 ahh I see. But for me, it’s hard to see the “swirl”, so Idk if it actually swirled or not; which is why I rely on the elemental absorption

Short answer you can have kazuha in one team and venti in the other
I've been wanting Venti in my team for the longest time, and ever since I got and built Kazuha and C6 Sucrose, so now I'm having second thoughts on pulling him.
Depends on what you wanna build. Venti is very different from Kazuha (while Sucrose is just poor person's Kazu). Do you need ER and CC? Pull for Venti. Are you satisfied with the Elemental Buffs and don't need broken ER or CC, then don't worry about it. You're set.
If you can 36*, who cares, pull for fun now. I can 33* easily and don't care about 36, so I'm pulling venti for fun if I wanna run morgana with my ganyu, but mainly got get xiangling cons xd
Don't let videos scare you off him. For 95% of this game, he is broken, god-tier, head-and-shoulders above every single other character in the game. If you have a weapon for it, crit builds work amazingly on him so his overlap with Kazuha/sucrose is less than people present it to be.

Edit: Man i have a an R5 Stringless AND a fully maxed out skyward harp. I can't decide what to give him T_T skyward harp looks cooler because signature weapon but stringless is apparently stronger. Ahhh i am torn

@@piasytric if u lack er in ur artifacts, go for elegy, if u have enough er but want more em, go for stringless.
Elegy - can spam burst and still provide as much em as stringless
Stringless - more burst dmg, pretty much same em

My Genshin story, i made the account and started playing when drunk so I don't remember a lot of it, what I do know is when I played for the second time I had Venti and skyward harp from my novice wishes and I used to think everyone has him. Tho now i realise how good he is, he has been my main DPS for a long time now and i have a weird mix of Crit and EM on him and I love him.
Just got him at 36 pity with a guarantee ahhh! He is my second 5 star. Now I gotta farm for everything he needs to build him since I was too busy farming primogems to get him haha.

What’s the rotation for the Kokomi version of Morgana with Ganyu, Venti, and Rosaria? Don’t have Mona.
Also, is it worth getting Ayaka so I can run Ganyu + Ayaka Freeze or is it not significant enough of an upgrade compared to running them separately? If the former, what would be the rotation for a Ganyu, Ayaka, Kokomi, Venti freeze team?
Thats really a good question
It's not significant enough. Kokomi is better than Mona in terms of permafreeze comps since Koko provides both healing and hydro proc. The current Permfreeze comps will use Shenhe or Rosaria as the best cryo battery/flex. Ayaka and Ganyu are both their own DPS. You'd essentially have an awkward position in which you are competing for who is dealing the main damage.
@@nicholas8739 Ganyu and Ayaka can work together They feed each other cryo particles and ganyu's burst buffs ayaka's cryo
Compared to a normal morgana team, just replace the downtime where ganyu fires CA with ayaka's burst instead.
koko e, rosario e q, ganyu q e venti e q, ganyu CA a couple times, koko q to extend e. repeat.
swap koko with rosario in the rotation if koko is holding ttds so she can buff ganyu.

The Mooun's Moon can be better than Stringless depends on what comp you are using. I'm using R5 Mouun's Moon on Venti since i'm using 90 Energy Capacity character like Raiden and Yae. You can achieve the maximum 80% elemental burst damage if you are using three characters with 90 Energy Capacity with Venti.
