The collective wisdom of Egypt, Rome, Greece, Persia, etc... collided in the city of Alexandria and gave birth to many profound ideas and ways of thinking!
Amazing thought provoking presentation! Explains much of the conflict of ideas still with us today, for me I realize that true Christianity was a great unifier of these systems

“A strange lack of contemporary vitality” MHP talks about neoplasm, but we apply to today’s academia far outstretched ideas while the middle class watches reality shows, action movies. The gap in thinking still persists! That makes it easy for the materialistic minds of non-intellectual elites to rule even those who comprehend Hermetic philosophy but themselves are “removed” by “falling in love with their own thoughts”. James Joyce caught the pure pleasure of just thinking in writing style of his Ulysses’ as impressionist type of Art.

Nagarjuna ( Second Shakyamuni ) and Ammonius saccas lived in the same era .
I discovered it is humanly possible to elevate to this status too and finish their works through earnest gradual dedication.
