      I would add a revision as to not add 3 ch and 3tc to end of each petal. This would make the bulb underneath the petals very bulky as she mentions in her 1:3 video. She actually added 2ch and 2tc only to *one* of the three medium petals and to *all* large petals, but *none* to the small petals. Watch her 1:3 video to see how slim her version is and how bulky the version is if you make the trebles at the end of all petals.

      Actually, that looked fairly difficult and cumbersome! I wrap the tail under to over above my first knuckle, then around again to under it, slip the hook under the nearest loop (to fingertip), hook the second loop then pull it out from under. When I'm done with however many stitches need to be in the loop, I only need to pull the tail to close the circle.

    You're speaking English very well, for it not being your first language. The thing you were holding in your hand at 1:30 is what I learned to call a stitch marker (you couldn't seem to think of the word, so I figured I may as well tell you in just in case) The roses are very lovely, and I think I'll probably make a bouquet of them at some point from your tutorial!

    So I figured out the rest of the Instructions: by the start of step 7 you should have 36 stitches on the outer perimeter, this is really important. Step 7 onward differs because it has stitch by stitch instructions instead of a repeating pattern. This means that upon starting you're going to do 10x stitches. Then (v, 4x) one increase and 4 stitches, but do this again 2 more times. After that do one v increase and then 10x stitches.

      @🌸Sakura Wulf to make the little "Tab" you slip stitch into the next stitch, ch 5, yarn over 2x, do triple crochet in same stitch, yarn over 2x, do triple crochet in next stitch. Cut yarn and pull tail through. (She shows this step in video 1:3)

    Ok I have to say your magic ring is the easiest so far for me. I’ve been having a serious amount of problems doing the magic ring and I’ve been crocheting for about five years now but your video makes it really easy and I now know how to do it thank you I appreciate it

  • @maheenakbani2014
    @maheenakbani2014 Před 2 lety

    I’ve been crocheting about 2 weeks and I’m still new to it but I’ve made a couple things I’m very proud of. The only thing is I’ve always struggled with the magic circle, because whenever I pulled the tail to close, it would never fully close and/or it would tighten ALL the stitches are too much for me to work. I watched SO many videos and no matter what I did it was always the same. This is the only one that worked beautifully. I’ve literally just finished making only the magic circle and I pulled the tail and it closed easily and seamlessly and I’m so so excited. Thank you SO much! Even if I don’t learn anything else, that singular help with the magic circle just changed the game for me. Bless

      @maheenakbani2014 Před 2 lety

      Never mind I spoke too soon I didn’t pull the two pieces like she did I just pulled the tail and realized later there was some loose string and now I’ve tried 7 times the way she is pulling at them trying to figure which is the right one and it doesn’t work at all. Neither of them do anything out make a tight knot. This is frustrating.

    Very good tutorial.! If I could just suggest that you write the stitch count at the end of each row. That would be very helpful. :)

    Ms. Crafty, your English is fine, your nice clear directions are even finer, and your gorgeous roses are the finest of all. I'd like to know if you or anyone else has successfully used this pattern with crochet thread. . Before I spend the time making the roses with thread, I thought I'd ask you if you know if your pattern works with thread. (These roses are so gorgeous, if I can't make them with thread, I'm going to make them with yarn which I don't normally use. GORGEOUS !)

      +Annie Keller Im doing the same thing in thread i use size 3 thread satin pettra thread? my suggestion is to double up on the amount of thread so 200g of thread should be enough.. i only have 4 ply yarn so im thining that would b e to thick looking.

    • @Mysticalcrystal68
      @Mysticalcrystal68 Před 8 lety

      +Annie Keller since i ran out of size 3 white thread i have some size 10 thread that now im attempting to do lol maybe a tad smaller im also using 2.10 mm hook.
