I love the Sephora collection single shadow in Chico excess. It has sparkle but it’s more of a wet look.
It’s interesting how the eyeshadow palette craze has waned. I tend to find a good one and done shade in some of my palettes and stick to that when I want something quick. I am determined to get use out of my investments!
The Armani is in my Sephora cart for the sale! Some other favs of mine are Charlotte Tilbury in Oyster Pearl, old school MAC paint pot in Layin’ Low, REM liquid matte in L8R and Pixie eyeshadow stick in Cognac is 👌🏻.
Have you tried colourpop Nillionare it’s a taupey,bronze with violet,gold,pink silver sparkles…..very similar to these colors 🥰

The matte mermaid eyes are my absolute favorite lid shade for an all matte look. They end up looking more like a glowy satin/matte and seem to look even better and as the day goes on. I wish I could find more formulas that do this really subtle satin/matte thing. I swear I remember satin eyeshadows used to be a lot more popular years ago but now it’s all high pigment and glitter which Kinda goes against my current vibe.

Surprised you didn't mention the Merit Solo Shadow! I use that one in Studio as my one and done, and I also like to mix the two lightest browns in the Chanel Candeur et Experience quad. That quad would look amazing on you!
I purchased the Merit eyeshadow after I saw it in my daughter’s stash. I love it. The color is beautiful.

Love this! My favorite one and done is the Laura Mercier shadow stick in Moonstone. It’s unbelievable and in a gorgeous metallic, beige-champagne kind of way. I want Beige Mitzvah, but I feel like the Laura Mercier is probably a close enough shade that I don’t need it 😂

Hi Blair, great video, I am so into one and done looks these days. Have a look at the Danessa Myrycks colorfix shadows, there are some beautiful shades that are great. Also I'm obsessed with your coloured stone bangle, so beautiful!
My new favorite shade is Smokey Wood in the Dior Smokey Essentials it’s got a taupe base and blends out so gorgeous!!!! And the soft taupe heck every shadow in this pallet is perfection!!! It’s so gorgeous I can’t stop using it I’ve got a dent lol🤣🤣🤣🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 great list!!! I wanted the mitzah so bad!!! It’s gorgeous!!!! I might get the other essentials pallet in the sale those browns are stunning!!!

Excited for this, I have such a hard time finding shadows that work for me that are One and Done, most suggestions don't work out on my eyes for some reason?? Or I'm very picky about how much shimmer I like above the crease, and I need to have some on my eyelid plus I'm fair, almost very fair with hooded eyes, so I have to be careful not to go too dark. Recently, I have maybe two shadows I like this way, the one from Colourpop might be limited edition? It's in "Not Too Much" and I just got the Nabla palette on the ULTA sale called Side by Side Nude palette. Jen Phelps suggested Love Ritual as a One and Done, it looked dark so I wouldn't have thought it would work on me, but I love it. Both shadows actually become matte enough to my preferences for the crease and just above it when blended but are shimmery enough on the lid.
I'm mostly sad my two fave shadows for an easy look were discontinued long ago, CARGO had waterproof sticks and I have yet to find a dupe for Botany Bay (a mauve/deep pink shade) or the big chubby sticks Essence used to make. Essence also made waterproof sticks and there was one that was supposed to be peachy, but was a cooler tone than peach imo, I'd put Botany Bay in the crease and Essence on the lid, then be able to go to the beach with natural waterproof shadow.
So, I ended up pulling out that Maybelline shade in Nude Glow that is likely very much expired but the formula seems to act like new. For me it's not possible as a One and Done (it's too shimmery above the crease and I can't get it to blend out enough to look matte enough) BUT, I forgot how pretty it can be on the lid and I blended Tarte's blush in Paaarty in the crease. It's not exactly one and done, but until shadows come in the same formula as Nabla's Love Ritual in their nude palette, it might be my easiest look.

I could barely use the elf no budge, it had this hard layer of dry product on the top all the time. I’d scrape it off to get to the more moist, usable part and it would always quickly get crusty on top again. Otherwise it would have been a favorite for me! Love space cowboy and BB golden bronze. I want the Armani now!
I’ve noticed that before with the elf shadow, I usually just scrape it off with my finger. I’ve actually noticed elf’s putty bronzers and blushes do the same thing!

Do you color your hair? It’s so beautiful, especially the shade, idk what you would call it but so lovely! I’ve been loving the merit solo shadow in vachetta for my everyday, often topped with either UD “space cowboy” or Hourglass “ray”.
I do! Right now it’s very close to my natural color with just a hint of dimension. I’m not really sure what my stylist does, but I know she uses a toner one shade lighter than my natural & does a root smudge
Hi Blair, I am a one-and-done neutral eyeshadow girl all the way through. I decluttered most of my palettes except for two. I bought Mitzah because of you and after I received it, realized I already had it with another name from Dior, cosmopolitan. I don't regret one bit buying it because the one I had was gifted to me by a friend in Spain, so probably that's why it had a different name in Europe. I love "Sylvie" from Chantecaille.🥰 I also have all the Merit solo shadows and I have my eye on 481 Poncho and 826 Rose Montaigne Mono Couleur from Dior. Have you tried any of the Lisa Eldridge liquid eyeshadows? I received one today in the color Emily. Check it out, I know you would love it. Also VB Honey and Mink.

ELF Sand dune and space cowboy are my everyday shades I found them through you❤❤❤. There is an Armani shade, Cashew, I really want that is a little darker than the one you use. Harry Makes it Up uses it and it is a cream matte color. Very similar to the elf sand dune but warmer with a hint of a red tone brown.
I just saw Harry Makes It Up using that shade, I want that shade too!
