  • Join Vet and I for a short ride exploring some of the back roads around Pendle and the Forest of Bowland. If you ride an adventure style bike you'll love riding the roads in this area. There's so many single track roads which wind their way through some outstanding scenery, you'll be spoiled for choice. Be prepared for a few bumpy roads and 'wildlife' along the way. If you know any other great roads in this area, do please let us know in the comments.
You can access the GPX file for this route and all of our other rides from the Vet and Beanie MyRouteApp group. Just search for Vet and Beanie.
This ride was part of a tech test ahead of our upcoming trip to ride the Rockies in Canada. There were a few problems. Our new cameras intermittently stoped recording sound. Over half the footage from this video had no sound at all, making this a 'fun' edit. We tracked the problem down to the TRRS to TRS adapters needed for the GoPro Media Mod which came with the Purple Panda microphones we bought. They were totally unreliable. We've replaced them now and the new ones worked perfectly. You'll also see some shaky video from our picnic. We were testing a new gimbal we plan to use in Canada. From the footage you'll see, we need a lot more practice.
Thank you for watching this video. If you have enjoyed it, please give it a like and consider subscribing to our channel.

You're right about Nelson, well Burnley and Pendle in general, it has great easy access to some wonderful biking areas.

I always thought 3rd was the best in a car, not sure about a bike, I'm not always sure what gear I'm in 😂😂
