    I am a landscaper during the week and a waitress on the weekends. Also have a farm and mules that I'm training. Needless to say, I'm constantly moving, and with spring progressing I could tell my body was wearing out and my joints were starting to really ache, especially when I first woke up and got out of bed. I found this on sale and after three days of using double serving, my joint pain is gone! My fiance is in the same boat as i am and he has more pains than i do, and this has helped him tremendously. Looking forward to the day where I don't have to constantly work, but until then this is really helping so much! Love your reviews. Thanks!

Most of the time I take Vital Proteins and never take it by itself. I add it to a smoothie or an herbal tea most of the time. Taste is a nonfactor for me (it’s slightly fishy). I was having this by a spoonful on top of food. Btw i’ve always wondered if that might affect the absorption. You can’t ever find any mention of whether you can have your collagen powder by the spoonful.

    • @JTJaredTaylor
      @JTJaredTaylor  Před 2 lety +12

      @@sergioortiz1839 Awesome! Are you saying you want to go off of caffeine? That's a great question. I think what I'm hearing is: How do I get off caffeine and still have good energy levels without a crash... is that right?
      I would recommend a combination of things that may help.
      1. stop caffeine. That's obvious but likely you will have some withdrawal and it will be tough. You can reduce gradually over 2 weeks but if you can go cold turkey, try that.
      2. increase vitamin B using nutritional yeast. It's a great natural source of vitamin B. At least a spoonful every day.
      3. increase vitamin D. This has a calming effect overall and may help you sleep better.
      4. speaking of sleep. get some. 😄 A dark, cool room. Go to bed the same time each night and get up the same time each day. Good consistent sleep will make a big difference.
      5. eliminate processed foods, sugar and industrial seed oils (vegetable oils). this will help you significantly reduce inflammation. Lots of inflammation can make you feel tired, warn out and run down all the time. This alone will have a significant impact.
      6. stay hydrated. If you are dehydrated you can feel tired. Don't overthink this. Just make sure you drink when you're thirsty or just before you feel thirsty. That hot weather and driving around constantly getting out of the truck is likely putting you in a mild state of dehydration. I would also recommend getting a zero sugar electrolyte mix you can use during the day. low electrolytes will sap your energy.
      7. Exercise regularly. This doesn't need to be a huge thing. walking 30 minutes every other day is a great way to start and will give you big benefits.
      8. Go keto. After you adjust you'll feel great. This is not a must but many people report feeling consistent energy once they've adapted to keto. I used to feel like garbage every day especially in the afternoons. Not anymore. I still have some off days here and there but they are fewer and further between. I feel younger now than I did when I was in my mid 40's.
      WOW that's a lot! Don't let this big list feel overwhelming. Just try to do one thing at a time. Hope this helps.

      @JTJaredTaylor  Před 2 lety +5

      @@sergioortiz1839 Well thanks Sergio! I sincerely hope these suggestions do change your life.
      On thing to consider. It's possible that lot's of caffeine consumption has affected your adrenal glands.
      You may be experiencing adrenal fatigue. Something else to research.
      Don't overthink it. And don't worry about it too much. Just look into it and see if you think it fits.
      It can take a while, and it depends on the person, but people have been able to heal adrenal fatigue and feel much much better!
      One other thing to consider. You've been taking a lot of caffeine for a long period of time and your body has adapted to it. It would be unrealistic to think that you could bounce out of that immediately but you can do it. Just be patient and persistent. Hope you feel better soon.

I have 2 points, I need your opnion and other who has experience taking collagen I am taking collagen peptides everyday but sometimes I take marine-type alternative, is that ok? another point do we need to have a break one month example in one year to give rest to the kidneys . Hi nas s! Thank you so much for sharing your own personal experience. I'm glad to hear you've experienced positive results. I'm sure this will be helpful to others as well.
      I think taking marine collagen is just fine. It's mostly comprised of type-1 collagen which is the most abundant in our bodies. The only caution I would have with marine collagen would be to make sure it's coming from wild caught fish and not farm raised. The quality should be better. Just like getting bovine collagen from grass fed cows rather than conventionally raised cows.
      I have not researched giving collagen consumption "a rest" once in a while. Great question. I will likely give it some more thought and research. I think of collagen more like a food than anything else. My understanding is that It's considered safe to take and beneficial for the majority of people.
      That said, if someone already has kidney issues or disease they should really consult with their doctor before taking collagen on a regular basis. I'm not a doctor so nothing I say should be considered medical advice but I hope that helps.
