Thank you for making this video! You just saved my bulbs lives. I moved into a house 2 years ago and because I’m new to gardening, I did not know the type of plants that were left behind by the previous owners. So last week I decided to repot them and assuming they were in the orchid family I planted the roots in bark mediums and the bulb expose to sun. The rest is pretty self explanatory😅
Ha! 😊 I looked up amaryllis for the first time on youtube and here you are again! I really liked that vanda video, but I’ve never grown anything from bulbs (well, except orchid pseudobulbs). On youtube, I’m always looking at orchid vids, but, after seeing this Irish woman’s amaryllis, a white one with deep red/burgandy stripes from the inside of the 2 biggest petals, I think I fell in love a little. It was so beautiful! I’m going to buy some bulbs and do exactly as you say... again. My vanda is all fixed up now. Thank you! Its outside in sun, under a screen patio, and now I water only the roots twice a day.... with zero substrate, just bare roots. Can’t wait to find those bulbs!

My mom just planted in the ground and left it there. No care, no bonemeal, no anything. It still blooms wonderfully in our area every year in May month. Actually if the climate is suitable, plants thrive very easily without any involvement from us.
In direct ground it doesn't need anything. If in pots then needs some care..
That's correct.. Doesn't need any fertiliser.... Another point, bulb should be planted much higher so that almost half the bulb is above the soil surface

The problem that happened suddenly is that it stopped from growing , although it still gives spare bulbs below.

Do we need to cut the leaves during winter ? I am repotting the bulbs now as my pot broke owing to profuse multiplication of bulbs. The bulbs have long leaves, should I cut them ?
Leave them until they dry naturally... You can separate the offsets and plant them in smaller pots

Q1.) They are very small size, so I think i wont get any flowers soon. How much year needed to get flowers ??
Q2.) However to pot them, I made soil mix of : 50% garden soil + 30% vermicompost + 15% rice husk + 2% saaf + 3% bone meal powder. Is this mix good or something isn't correct ???

Yes you can. If you keep the pots under shade then you can save them there only. You need not uproot them at all.
