Bangkok has to be one of the most advancing cities in the world in terms of improving infrastructure accompanied by new malls and upscale apartment buildings. The city is changing so quickly with improved roads and disappearing telephone wires that if you blink you might just miss the new neighborhoods sprouting up all over the city. Watching all these improvements take place is indeed fascinating so thanks to you Jeroen for making that possible with your impressive video tours.

Awesome! We actually used this pier when we went to icon Siam after our time at the museum of Siam. Was an easy walk. It was the hop on hop off boat we were on.
Love Sanam Chai is a beautiful and an amazing MRT Station.👍♥️ So an excellent and very gorgeous New Ferry fier Chao Praya river. The both are best place my favorite. And I was ever visited to there. Thanks for best video.👍🙏

Thank you for this. However, did you know that the ferry from Rajini is no longer running. On the Thonburi side the pier appears to have collapsed, so there is no way of crossing the river to the Portuguese church right now.
I always saw foreigner line up and buy MRT token at counter and really don't understand why staff don't tell them that they can tap your credit card directly to the gate.

Simple answer tourists use cash as there are always hidden charges if you use a debit card abroad
