  • In this Primed Insight we discuss which cooling tube will provide the coldest (or hottest) air flow to your painting hood or blasting helmet. The answer is actually conditional upon which breathing air filter you're using (2 outlet vs 6 outlet) and the size of your blast team.

The c40 is usless the plastic belt mount is the main issue as the plastic is flimsy if you get a snag on your airline and it will break , I have been blasting for over 10 years and my boss has bought us multiple of them and he has stopped buying them for you us. We even got metal mount made up but overtime the weight of the hose and constant movement separates the two sections of the c40, it usually starts at the air fitting as it only has a pressed steel ring holding the two sections together, and as there is only one bolt in the back that holds the belt mount and as there is no actual mounting point on the top of the c40 for the belt loop to go through instead it just has two prongs that go around the helmet hose so there is no support on the the top section at all so with constant movement it eventually elongates the plastic where the belt mount Bolt comes through then it blows apart about 3mm and no air is supplied to the user .
