    Whoever does your filming and editing deserves a raise. Always good viewing. I miss the old trout and fresh water fishing where I grew up in Victoria and that outfit he’s using is unbelievably nice! Cheers

    Great little vid! I did see the Jointed Dr Minnow make an appearance several times in the video, was even the first lure filmed...wondering why you would showcase a lure that has been discontinued? I say this more out of frustration than anything, as they are (were) one of my favourite all time Trout lures. I've mentioned Daiwa should bring them back in Podcasts, on my FB page, and Insta, tagging Daiwa on most occasions. And no, I wouldn't think you would bring them back just for me hahaha but the amount of people I know who would love to see them back as well is...nearly every Trout fisherman I know! And for them to make several appearances in a Daiwa video about Trout fishing with a Pro Staffer using them...and catching multiple fish with them....#bringbackthejointedDrminnow !!!

    Great vid guys, what would you suggest for a travel rod I’m tossing up between one of your older presso 4 piece or one of the new wilderness rods would mainly be fishing land based for trout at the bigger streams and lakes like Jindabyne throwing small lures and anything up to say 18 grams cheers guys!

    • @DaiwaAustralia
      @DaiwaAustralia  Před rokem +1

      If you're casting up to 18 definitely go with the 20 WILDERNESS 765MHFS. The recommended castweight is 4-17g which gives you a good ranges of lures to cast.

    • @DaiwaAustralia
      @DaiwaAustralia  Před rokem

      @@JamesWilliams-ss3cp It is on the heavier side which caters for your heavier lures that you want to cast.
      You can go the LFS or MLFS but that decreases the cast weight

    Awesome vid. Has Daiwa ever considered selling spinners? Similar to a blue fox vibrax or a rooster tail? They are dynamite down here in Vic.

    Would you recommend the Ultralight Presso over the Light for this type of fishing?

    • @DaiwaAustralia
      @DaiwaAustralia  Před 5 měsíci

      Either would suit. It more depends on the lure weights you plan on throwing and the size of the fish in the stream.
