Wind Waker Ganon was actually pretty merciful. He didn't try to kill Link until *after* he lost his chance at using the triforce

@@christiancasaverdepertica1802 Agreed. It felt less like an all out murder attempt(Think Beast Ganon and the things he did in other games) and more like a way to try and exhaust him and keep him busy while he prepared. To steal the complete Triforce.
Also, remember. In that timeline he lost, was banished, and without dying or obtaining victory he had at Least several centuries to reflect on his decisions. Without his taste of victory from the Hero's Defeat Timeline, or unbridled hatred from watching his people be tortured and executed for a crime he had yet to commit, he instead grew into a wizened self reflective man who merely wanted to return things to how they were, but with him in charge.
Also note that he didn't use magic to do battle, didn't kill when it wasn't necessary for his goals, and overall he had an air of chivalry in how he fought.

Minus the fact that deaf people, most of them, are very expressive. More expressive then hearing people at times. :P my professor uses lip reading to communicate with other professors who don't know ASL. He speaks fluent English though so he can talk to them.

@@linklink3008 i believe a spoken Hyland language is just... your actual language. And there is a Shiekah script for the Slate, but it would need extra work. Also, there is a Gerudo script.
Makes sense considering all the boss screams, the bombs and explosions, and many injuries.
I wouldn't be surprised if he did go deaf because of any one of those incidents. Bombs going off in one's ear or being near loud collapsing structures or even excessive screaming can mess someone up

Rainbowgaming47 Well without the Triforce of Power, he loses his godlike strength and durability, though he’d still probably be capable of turning into the Demon King via his magical power, as he is a very capable warlock, which speaks well as he is a very cunning tactician, usually turning to monsters to cripple Hyrule before moving in himself. Which is a very effective strategy. So even without the Triforce of Power, he’d still be an incredibly capable warrior, though in the end he’d probably receive his piece of the Triforce, because while he may be a product of Demise's curse, it was Ganondorf who managed to acquire it, so much like Link has the Triforce of Courage, and Zelda the Triforce of Wisdom, Ganondorf would most likely still receive the Triforce of Power simply due to his strength as a warrior. Each piece goes to the person most deserving in most versions of the story, and we frequently see Ganondorf wielding Power. If Nintendo seeks to end the story, which will eventually happen, the way I’m seeing it pan out is all three welders of the Triforce fight Demise, and use the Triforce itself to seal Demise away in a prison so tightly locked he’d never be able to unleash his evil upon the world again.

As someone that's learned sign language in order to communicate better with a certain person, makes me happy to see sign language getting more recognition through such a famous game. Even if it is from just the fanwork
yeah, its nice seeing recognition... honestly the fanwork may be better... i dont know how good nintendo would do deafness and its culture in such a complex game (i started learning as a way to get around some disadvantages i get with communication from autism)
I think I finally found a reasonable explanation for this. This is just the morning routine for ganondorf, whose wearing a night robe, and link, whose used to being called hero of time out of ganondorf's habit. Granted, this would imply that he's in his night robes during the entirety of wind waker, but considering how long its been, it could be his last outfit that's not shredded due to becoming a gaint pig demon... or this is night one of smash ultimate and links gotten good with him and thus is now cool with this ganondorf, at least to the point of being casual around him.
Then he won't be able to hear that amazing tune when he gets something cool
Would explain why it no longer appears in BOTW when you open chests, not much point now.
