- Welcome to Shadow of War. I believe I've only made one other video on this game, back when it released. Since then I've picked the game up for PC to give the game a proper revisit. I think this game is great but there is a lot of missed potential. The microtransactions completely destroyed the marketing and the graphics were not up to par to the standards of its time, especially out of a studio like warner brothers. I think the most annoying thing is that we can’t skip the constant ork dialogue, but otherwise it’s easily one of my favorites
I'm not really sure about the missed potential you're talking about but you're right about the microtransactions. When people heard about the game having them that turned them away from buying it. Even though this game is amazing and you don't even have to touch the microtransactions. And I don't know why you think the graphics are sub par? Even on a regular PS4 this game looks great, especially on a 4K HDR TV
Sprudelwassser I think graphics aren't the problem,but instead the locations themselves are, which is kinda unfair to point out considering we're primarily hunting orcs. If we had elves, humans dwarves as opponents the game would have looks much more interesting.
Spot on with the missed potentials! But graphics aren't that much of a big deal since looking at this now it is still acceptable in 2019, Remnant from the Ashes comes to mind. There are also fun games with shit graphics. Though they could've done better with their budget.
Microtransactions for paid single player games are easily the most disappointing in almost all games nowadays. Spiderman PS4 even has them. Games should learn from God of War PS4, no microtransactions at all. Microtransactions should only be for free-to-play games like Dota 2 and they should be for cosmetics only, not pay to win.
Orc trash talk that CAN'T BE SKIPPED is the worse decision they put, it even forces you to zoom in on the Orc which makes you vulnerable to getting hit and stops your combos since you can't see where the fuck your character is. They should've just let the Orc trash talk in the background without the forced camera focus, instead let the Orc talk with INCREASED VOLUME on his voice and the usual gestures so that you can laugh your ass and find him to shut him up.
As the other guy pointed out, they should have added other races and not just focus on Orcs, this made the game more like Shadow of Mordor 1.5 with updated graphics, moves and shit. I love the no HUD, no damage numbers/health bar and minimal UI the game can offer though. 3rd person and over-the-shoulder view for range weapons is very satisfying.
The killing, beheading, amputation, brutal finishers and Orcs showing up again are very revolutionary even Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order doesn't have laser amputations when it should have (since it is for kids as well).
This is still the BEST 3rd person action, parkour, stealth, dark and bloody game we get to experience. I'm always on a lookout for games with those features, games like Prince of Persia, Soul Reaver, Assassin's Creed and the like.
@@jovzpal426 Spider-Man ps4 had a season pass that gives you expansions that’s not a micro transaction a microtransaction is a outfit, skin, p2w stuff or a battle pass Spider-Man ps4 had none of those

I have platinum for it and it's an awesome game. One of the best singleplayer games I have ever played.
This video is cinematic as hell, and all you did seemingly was turn off all UI, give yourself infinite focus and arrows and enhance the audio.
Definitely would like to see more Shadow of War, but with different strategies like only dominating to win a fight or making use of every trap you see

Levelling up in this game and smashing through waves of enemies was a great and satisfying gaming experience. The ending was hella wack but that's beside the point.

theres a lot of ac elements in this game especially the stealth. youll love it
I think that if they were to use this engine for a similar game, it would translate well over into A Song of Ice and Fire universe. Imagine starting up a house and butchering kings guard only to meet someone you scarred earlier in the game.
Without all the magic stuff since A song of ice and fire is pretty tame in the magic sense

my new fav console game. im only 18 hrs in but im havin a blast & im getting better everytime i play its fun af. ive killed over 2 thousand orcs & i cant wait to kill more. a tip, if youre struggling with a cple of captqins or a warchief with too many bodyguards, just tame a drake n burn em to death lol

This gameplay is cool and all, but I am pretty sure he’s playing with “god” mode turned on. Or at least one that gives him unlimited arrows and might for executions. Still cool gameplay, but not really quite what the experience is like.
Well it also depends on high level your gear is and it’s not hard to find arrows in this game
