The real joke with echoes of eternity is either path of annihilation or glaring fleshwarper. With path, you get 8 spawns and gain 16 with a 7mv spell. With fleshwarper, each eldrazi creates 4 spawns and deals 20 damage to the opponent.

Well, in other games he had echoes in his hand and it didnt do anything. Other cards may have helped him win those games

Echoes of eternity anb flashraker are a 2 piece insta kill combo.

I went up against someone with two echoes in their deck yesterday. They played the second one and after all the copying, they played a voidcraw and got 10 of them. I conceded to the 40+ mana they had, all for letting cool decks do their thing but I’m not going to sit through 5 minutes of triggers every time you cast a spell

I just had a draft where i got echoes the commander eldrazi and the 3red red eldrazi makes 3 on entry with the false artifact that turns into an 0/0 and the blue enchantment that makes 2 spawns with a 4,5,6 cost spell on turn 7 was amazing opponent was a real one and let me play it out and get 32 annihilator triggers turn 9

Can someone please explain all the triggers in game 2 for me? I can't figure out how his board ended up like that..
On cast, the 7 drop makes 2 eldrazi spawn. Then, the creature is copied. Copy of creature etbs, it triggers evolve on all the colourless tokens, which doubles. So they evolve twice. Broodscale makes a spawn when it gets a counter, thus making 2 spawn when it gets a counter, which happens twice. Original creature etbs, triggering evolve twice on all tokens and causing 4 more spawn to be made
Not a huge fan of this format, but Echoes of Eternity is so much fun and is strong. Had 100 triggers on the stack in a turn recently and my iPhone was overheating!
MH3 is going rough for me. I played against a crazy UB deck with three of the flyers that come back (that I saw) when you draw 3, and that sac draw spell, and two withers. They played back to back crabomination 😢
I'm really struggling with cutting lands for dual cards and getting stuck as well, hard to know a good balance

Well, Echoes is kind of card if You cast it and lives it's very hard to lose besides direct face damage. Best synergy for Echoes of Eternity in Limited is Glaring Fleshraker. If You cast it after Echoes, one colorless creature cast is equal to 24 damage to each opponent.

Trophy rate is so bad because this format is super explosive. You get a mediocre hand, you lose very quickly to most decks: Slith growing, Eldrazi dropping huge doods, counters decks voltroning a gigantic thing, or energy decks pooling critical mass of energy. Just a super unforgiving format.

The amount of scion tokens in this format makes it pretty unfun, imo. Boards get very stall-y very fast, so more aggressive decks can't really push through damage
