Bought a force last month, not had chance to unbox it.. I was about to send it back as ive not seen too many trance tracks or sounds from it.. glad to hear its capability to create sounds like this!! I'll have to try it out this weekend :) thanks

Nice! Love the pitch bend around 1:10. I had some fun using an envelope follower to side chain the mix to another channel (e.g. have the granulator on a pad and turn the mix up when the snare hits etc). Obviously there's a lot of potential here.
When using the envelope follower or mother ducker it can yield great results!

Just spent some good time with it for the first time tonight and I got to say I’m quite impressed. And I’m an Eventide H9 owner.
If you stack the effects you can really get creative but I think the Eventide sounds better with the reverbs?
@@Expectaz Yeah, I haven't done extensive A/B testing. But I can tell you that every plug-in sounds I tried, including the Studio strings, sound better with their Reverb/Delay turned OFF and H9 Reverbs turned on. But I am doing my best to stick with just the Akai stuff for now.
Also the diff delay is a great one to use for reverb like sounds. When put after another it will work like a charm

Nope, it still is great to have 2 because you can mix them together and load projects. Disk streaming doesn’t improve the workflow.. If they allowed to merge projects then I would consider. How about your 2 mpcs then? 😝

Yes, as an effect. Not a synth like a GMS GR1.

It’s included on the 3.1 release of the Force. You can put it into any insert slot or on the send/return channels

The granulator is an audio effect, so you can add it as an insert in the programs or mixer

It definitely is! I rarely use the computer nowadays to make music… only for a little bit of mastering
