- The necklace Princess Diana wore during her last public appearance is going up for auction. The Swan Lake Suite, which now includes a matching pair of earrings, is being sold by Guernsey's in New York. The necklace was worn by Princess Diana in June of 1997 when she attended a performance of Swan Lake at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The jewelry was commissioned by Dodi Al-Fayed, who died with Diana in a car crash months later. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

Honestly I think this is exactly how Princess Diana would want the funds to be used. She was so kinda and compassionate. She loved helping those that needed an extra hand. So for the funds to go towards rebuilding a country that was torn apart seems right. I know people would like for her grandchildren or sons to have it. But her sons and people that knew her know she would much rather it help others. 💖 May the Princess Diana’s love, and compassion in helping others continue.
