She brings up a very good point. Ageism is a very real thing in this country. People get pushed out of jobs in their 40’s and 50’s. It’s a very real thing. Ageism is not always talked about but it happens and can be absolutely devastating to a person and their family. Yes, President Biden is 81, but the point she’s making is that these days anyone who isn’t in their 20’s and 30’s is simply too old and it’s time to go. Hopefully, you never have to deal with that. But the you get generation will not only have to compete with ageism but also AI and other technology replacing humans altogether.

Yeah this wasnt about sending a message to old people saying they are too old to do whatever job theyre doing. Being the President is one of if not these hardest jobs in all of America. The toll of stress it takes even on a younger person like Barack Obama was telling when he left Office after 8 years. You could physically tell he had aged more than he shouldve. This was about Biden specifically and his age and vitality and mental/physical health. The stress and the strain of the job was just too much for him. And the reality is that sometimes as people get older its just the truth. I dont think many people would out there making the blanket statement that old people are just too old for their job.

I fear there's a difference in what loyalty is and the way criticism looks when you're loyal to someone. Despite how they felt about president Biden the party didn't disapprove of his re-election in a way that portrayed loyalty. A lot of that conversation wasn't for the general public especially towards someone you care for. It really did feel like throwing away someone because of the natural progression in age most of us will face.

The best thing about this video was there wasn't a whole bunch of clapping every 5 seconds when the ladies were talking. I like the fact that the audience sat there quietly and just listened instead of a whole lot of clapping and cheering.
