I have both bikes lead acid AGM cell as well as lithium ion okinawa. Today all companies advertising lithium batteries only. May be reason is 18% gst only, previously it was 5% only. But what I observered. Cost of lithium is big. In 12 year span I replaced LA battery 1 time only. Hero maxi Purchased on 01-dec-12, battery replaced sep-17 with new amptek 28ah agm cell cost 10000/- with buy back. running till now with 15ah remaining. 6000 kms run per year. The main good thing is LA batteries for ebike are safe. They will not burn in over charging. You do not have to worry about safety. The pickup current is also very high you can draw hundreds of amp for first few minutes. For a Layman LA batteries are good. This is for ebike only. For 4 wheelers the BMS is AI based and lot of sensors are there so all manual things it takes care. so they are safe and good. Water is the worst thing for lihium ebike. If it go inside the pack then anything can happen. Accidental puncture of cell will caught fire. You have to protect your ebike like mobile phone. Overcharging can result a blast, may-june heat will degrade your cells you have keep them below 30 deg for long life. 2 times my new AGM cells got overcharged because the charger didn't cut off. And this dropped around 5ah capacity. Later I purchased a power timer switch from Amazon and that problem resolved.

I have a question! I have a 60v 6000W e-scooter (3000w x 3000w) with a 38ah battery. Can I change it to a 60v 8000w (4000w x 4000w) by just changing the motors? And will it work better if so? Thank you for any help you can offer! My name is John!

In that case, first check the capability of your e-scooter controller. If your scooter controller is capable of driving 8000w motor load, then you can convert it from 6000w to 8000w.
