My sa highlighted how different colorways were associated with differences in the ground floor (navy/ night with people dancing, white/daylight is empty) and also the different gods (music, hermes) represented on each corner. The details of each design but also between each colorway is exquisite. True pieces of art.

Thank you for this insightful review. I have the ciel colorway and I am delighted with it. Actually I don’t find it limiting in terms of pairing but then I am partial to pastels and tend to gravitate towards these soft hued colorways. The intricacies of the design are stunning.

I waited and waited for this scarf - I had seen a preview. I have the colorway with the navy-black super dark background. Love it. I couldn't decide between the one I bought, the colorway you just highlighted, and the other pastel with apricot and aqua. I'm a jewel -tone person and never like pastels, but I like these pastels so I'm sure I'll eventually get a pastel colorway, too. I hardly ever do that, so I must really like this scarf.
