So many ppl get turned off by crochet braids bc it’s synthetic and gets frizzy. Not if you have a routine like this though. Protective styles don’t always mean less work, just that your hair is growing unbothered without manipulation that leads to breakage. Crochets got my hair mid back length with natural 4c hair with routines like these and consistently oiling and massaging my braids underneath. Thanks for sharing this bc crochets can last sooo long if you care for them correctly 💕
Honestly, a tip I got many many years ago from some African braiders (hear me out lol) was to mix fabric softener with water in a spray bottle( not on your own hair or any human hair of course).Because braid hair is NOT hair guys. It's literally synthetic fabric shredded into very fine strips to mimick hair. So they actually convinced me to stop wasting my expensive hair care products on synthetic hair because it doesn't have the effect that it does on human hair.
Girl we know better than to use fabric softener. Never ever use that on synthetic hair because its packed full of chemicals that should never touch your skin. You are trying to give people cancer. The product she is using works best. Please stop using fabric softener
Synthetic fibers have come such a long wayyyyy some are better thab human. I have learned that leave in is usuallt better for higher grade synthic than harsh things like fabric softner
@@ImpressDivinity but the reality is that products created for actual HAIR are not going to help a SYNTHETIC FABRIC in anyway. Maybe the PROCESSING of that fabric has improved but no different from processed food, it'll never behave like NATURAL actual HAIR. It's thinly shredded FABRIC no matter how well they've processed. That's all it is. It'll never be compatible with actual hair which is why the price is DRASTICALLY different and always will be, synthetic will never be BETTER than NATURAL, ACTUAL hair it's a FAUX version of it. That's equivalent to saying that faux fur is better than real fur. That's never going to happen, it's an IMITATION dear. Imitation will NEVER be better than AUTHENTIC.
@@ebonyeverything2751 well thank you for your paragraph dear but I did say what I said and I stick by it and it works as well 🤷🏽♀️ which is why a lot of hair products make leave ins that can be used on natural, chemical treated, human extension AND synthetic blend hairs. So keep doing you and imma keep doing me and others it works for and then paragraphs don't have to be wasted. 🙏🏽

Word! My crochet lasted for over a month I only took it out because I was tiredness the length but it's a protective style that works when done right
