Thousands of years ago the cycle was broken with the arrival of the first Keeper who brought magic and rune lore to the people of Dagra. Under the banner of the three suns a republic was born from the ashes. At last a long standing peace was established. But human nature corrupts. Suspicion sows the seeds of corruption and the world begins to unravel at the seams once more.
Beware the thought thieves. Beware their touch. Beware your memories - you can’t be sure they are yours.
Evelyn is a novice at the Library of Orem where all the history and memories of Dagra are stored. She dreams of earning her grey coat and becoming a Keeper, a sect of magic users with the power to manipulate minds and memories. Isolated from the world she knows only the safety of the Library. As she hones her magic, she begins to uncover secrets better left buried, and dabble in politics beyond her understanding.
The iconic Ruined Lighthouse from the novel is brought to life with some Hobby Crafting Cheat codes.
The main way I get the texture of rock is by using drywall joint compound. It’s easy to sculpt and carve into new forms once it dries and it mixes well with both paint and additives fillers like cellulose pulp insulation. Then, by applying more and more layers of details, like carved pine board and 3D printed details, helps sell the miniature craft as a real object.

It really is amazing how you created the height and depth of the structure within the hillside with so many layers of bricks. I wish the character was facing outwards though!

maaan...f'n kill'n it. that little door and lower entrance area is prob my fav part, such a neat little detail that makes the whole structure believable. So much love went into every part of this.

I absolutely love it mate, turned out great! Do you know if spackle could be used instead of joint compound?
Yep, It's slightly thicker than joint compound and has some extra binding agents but it should work similarily for this application.
