Red River Gorge Camping Trip

The older you get, the busier you get. While it's hard to coordinate and plan time together, these short moments are so beautiful. Me and a couple of friends got to sneak away from our busy schedules into Red River Gorge - a geological area in Kentucky. We camped, cooked, laughed (a lot), had deep talks, slept under the stars, hiked, and just enjoyed each others company.

Looks like a lot of fun! Trying to plan a trip here for me and some friends. Did you need to get a permit for this geological area campsite? where did you book and how?

We camped at a designated camp site. You do need a permit to camp inside Red River Gorge and I believe they have specific areas you can camp. You might have to check the website because I’m not too sure. We used Lago Linda for our camping site!
