Bout to right an essay just a heads up. It’s hard to fix spawn rushing because of the sheer size of the map. One way is to crowd areas with more pve to slow down movement of the map, but that becomes overwhelming to some players. They can reduce the number of players in each match but as we have experienced before it makes the dungeon feel empty. Rings are kind of hard to come by in gobo caves (killing players is how I get them. But I run trios a decent amount so I already have a good amount of jewelry stockpiled to kill said players with). Something they could do and they did before was go to either 5X5 map or what I’d like to see a 4X4 variant. Widen the map a little bit and give players time to clear their pod to either prepare to fight a player or go searching for players. As far as loot goes, it could use a small buff. Maybe not the bis city it was in wipe 3 for a little while, but should allow to build a decent kit in 2-3 full raids of looting. Nice video btw 🫡
I totally agree, i just want to see A small buff/change nothing else like i already have a good time playing it but i think something little like u said idk a bit more PVE or Even less, a bit better loot can have a drastic effect
5x5 maps you find no one 3x3 maps you find them too quickly I confidently believe you can run away from battles before they happen, but, even is you’re the one rushing in, consider this. In such a small map, where people are playing alone, there isn’t any reason to just not go towards the enemy if you can hear them, since you know there won’t be a second person to attack you by surprise, nor ally to coordinate your attacks with. It’s all 1v1 skill. And while yes, gear disparity may be a thing, I noticed you can make some EXTREMELLY god tier gear sets with a maximum of around 750g. So not that expensive.
I don’t think spawn rushing is as common as he portrays. I’ve play enough to get to lvl 15 on my rogue and I’ve only had to deal with spawn rushing a handful of times. Tbh I enjoy the goblin caves
Let me say this, it's giga common if ur facing People with high end gear. I have it in every single lobby and i just resorted rather than waiting for them to come i will rush aswell, Again this video isnt me complaining i LOVE goblin caves i just think adjusting a thing or two would be nice. If the map remains the same i wont complain :)
I 100% have resorted to playing ice caves solo cause of the stuff mentioned here (I play ranger, and its pretty boof tbh, the class not the map although the mob density is outrageous)
I just hate how it feels like ironmace is only wanting to make the game fun for trios. I don't have a trio and my duo and i couldnt stand ice caves after day one. We managed to kill around 800 mobs on day one alone in duos. And solos has the problem you listed
3:30 if someone is hunting kills he is gonna kill you anyway, no matter the spawn rushing 🤷 atleast you waste less time. Also, why is it a problem? Gear desparity isn't a feature in normals. I can't see healthy game mechanic that punish you for having better gear. If it's a problem, and you are making video about it, you should have some solution on your mind?
I dontr have a problem with it, i just think a slight change would feel amazing. I enjoy the mal and if they dont change anything im still gona play it. And as u said i agree gear should be winning but, ruins was lets say 60% gear 40% skill here its 70% gear 30% skill. Just something tiny as reducing the player count by 1 person can have a dramatic effect or maybe a bit less PVE so u have more control over rooms. Again im not complaining just sharing my thoughts

All we can do rn is stop spawn rushing to make people less aware of it and teabag every defended spawn rush 😅 I think that only increasing map size is going to change it. Maybe not 5x5 but 4x4 so you need to run longer, but even in this scenario you can't stop Rogues 🤣 Maybe some mechanic like increased luck for X min in your starting square that expires once you leave it or some debuff that you need to cleanse with killing X amount of mobs 🤔 But those feel kinda 'fake'.
Developers threw away their high roller solo audience so they could have a flashy PVP battle royale experience in normals for the Epic Games release. If the game is gonna be randomly playable or unplayable like this, I'd rather just find better games.

I really like the rushed playstyle of 3x3 caves but also for solo ranged spell casters its probably a NIGHTMARE,wish they brought map rotation back

On the topic of gear, is it just me, or does the leathersmith no longer sell rawhides? I haven't had a single cycle that has rawhides in stock.
