Been working on a really big project with a tight deadline. Every day I come to this, make myself a cup of coffee, and pretend that I'm actually working in the Roost. Like, somehow I stepped into Animal Crossing and now I'm in a different universe, with no pressure, and Brewster is making me coffees to help me concentrate and get things done before I have to go back to the human world. I know this is stupid and childish but it's helping me to be in a slightly childlike frame of mind, to maintain my creativity despite adult pressures.

Checklist:
. A bottle of water, at least 1 liter your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you concentrate 💧
. Your charger. You sometimes don’t even notice that your device’s battery is going down, so better have it plugged in at all time 🔋
.your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if its a late night study session, you won’t wake up anyone 🎧
.a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well. ☕️
.your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need 📝
. Anything else you could need, what about a head pad , a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 (if you don’t have a pet you can use a stuffed animal)
Reminder: after an hour , you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put different music for the break. Open your window, even if its cool oustside. Fresh air will make it better trust me.
You could also lay your head down on you desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that’s even than listening to music while reading the book.

before acnh came out, my dad introduced me to to animal crossing: let's go to the city also known as city folk on the wii, i remembered exploring in the museum and wondering where this one door led and low and behold was there was a surprise, a surprise to be sure but a welcome one. i was instantly met with a wave of calmness, brewster offered me a coffee and even though i was just a little kid, that was one of the first times i experienced a moment of true bliss. whenever i came to the museum, i always made sure to drop by the cafe and just enjoy the drink, the music, the vibe and the moment. i think the music was the thing that had attracted me to this place like a magnet, how the melody had always felt so smooth and familiar, just like a fresh cup of coffee.
flash foward a few years later, when i heard brewster was coming to acnh i was so excited, but unfortunately i was 1, still very behind in the game- only purchasing the game in june of that year and 2, school kept me from doing the things i loved. it's been a few years since i've logged in into acnh and i still (unfortunately) haven't reached that level, but i know that one day maybe, just maybe, if i just have enough time i'll pick up the game again and i can finally hear that sweet, smooth cafe tune and pick up a coffee in the game once more.
To whoever is reading this, I hope you heal from the things you don’t speak about. I hope you find peace within your day. If all you did was get out of bed today, have a glass of water, or even just did whatever you could, just know that’s the best you could do at that moment and that’s okay. Everyone sleep well and I hope the waves of relaxation wash over you. Sending love and healing and light to all of you.

this gives me so much memories to when younger me (~ 6-7 years old) was constantly playing Animal Crossing Wild World on my Nintendo DS. I loved this game, really miss the good old times 😢

@@janine_holt I hear ACNH is actually not at all like Wild World, it lacks a lot of the charm. I used to love Wild World too and then looked into New Horizons and decided against it, didn't want to spoil my old memories. I didn't love New Leaf either. Wild World forever.

It’s the roots you could say and I’m excited to try it out on my childhood GameCube. I hope it will hook me like wild world did when I was a kid..

i was trying to sleep but bad images kept coming into my head, and i started to cry until i found this. i felt relief and i listened to the ambiance of this and soon after i turned it off i fell into a deep sleep. so deep i missed my bus. lol
I'm currently developing a rpg style game as a single person. Sometimes i get distracted and loose track of what I'm doing. This sound track helped me soooo much stay on track.

i had the old animal crossing the one with this coffee place through my whole childhood yet i lost my 3 ds with that animal crossing card thing with it all o was lost was an old but newer version and my sisters better newer 3 ds i was heartbroken i loved that coffee bird i sat in their for so long and my sisters animal crossing doesnt have the coffee bird to this day i am deeply upset about it
